Came to get some bread, but the lady working saw I parked and immediately turned off the lights. It was way before closing time too… great first impression. Won’t be making a second trip here.

Cash only. The nice cashiers are more comfortable speaking Spanish. Don't let that intimidate you from buying fresh tasty tamales of Cheese, Chicken or Pork. They do sale out. Go early.

Everyone there is so friendly and BILINGUAL. The bakery is clean, well lit and has plenty of parking. The bread is the perfect balance of sweetness for me and they have a great selection of items. I'm thankful that they are doing great business on this side of town and look forward to supporting this small business

OVERALL: One of the best bakeries I've been to! Wide selection, nice interior, friendly staff, great prices! FOOD: this is a Mexican bakery. The baked goods ranged from traditional breads like conchas to other unique items. All looked fresh, smelled amazing, and the ones I tried were super moist and flavorful. They also offer items like tamales (3 types), champurado, mexican hot chocolate , tortas, and more. I had several tamales and the champurado and can vouch for it 100%. My favorite was the rajas and the pork. They also offer salsa and cream for a small fee. VENUE: the bakery is located in a little outdoor shopping mall so there is ample parking. The bakery is cute and clean! SERVICE: the staff was so friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, this venue doesn't accept credit cards! Cash only.

What a great little spot. I am typically not a fan of the Panaderias but this one is different. I was eager to try their champorado which multiple reviews were raving about. Sadly, they were out and I got the hot chocolate which was different and very good. The cupcake was moist and tasty, not too sweet. The lady who helped me was super nice. She did not speak English and I do not speak Spanish but we still had a very friendly exchange. I wish them the very best. I will be back to try the champorado for sure.

Yes We PanSmall mom-and-pop panaderia located in an aging strip mall in South SJ that's been in operation for nearly six years (2017) now.The Good:*All their pan dulce is made in-house*Friendly service*Their breakfast burritos are really good and for only $6/ea. They kinda remind me of La Vic's breakfast burritos when they were good instead of the caca that they are now.*Housemade tamales (didn't try, but a co-worker recommends)*Small lot, but usually plenty of parking available The Meh:*Cash onlyThe Ugly:*Neighborhood is kinda sus, especially those apartments along the backside. TLDR: Good pan dulce and even better burritos.
Everybody loved the tamales. But get there early. They sell out. And it's cash only.

I was craving a breakfast burrito and found this place. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito and it hit the spot! I'd love to try all the other treats as well. They seemed to have regulars, which is a great sign. I also ordered a few tamales, but I liked the breakfast burrito better.

So yummy! My first time visiting a Mexican bakery and I will def come back. I ordered a white concha and hot chocolate and my boyfriend got a large pink swirled pastry. Our total came out to $6.75 which was very reasonable. I believe they only take cash. The service was very nice, pastries were delicious and the store was very clean. 10/10 recommend.

This place is awesome. Their tamales are fantastic as are their pastries. Prices are very reasonable and comparable to my favorite Eastside places. We've tried the pork and the chicken tamales. They have Tortas too! They have such a wide variety, and they are fresh! One good thing is that they open super early in the morning which means you can pick things up for the office. Sorry no pictures but I'll update my review this week when I go again.
