Probably 4.5. This was very good bathe pasta was homemade and the sauce was excellent. Some pasta, with sausage and two sodas came to $31.00. In California terms it was a fairly priced meal.
The portions were very reasonable, it was a lot of sausage for the price and the meal was, again, very good.
I would definitely come back and try a different offering. The only drawback was the seating. The concept is good and the seating is shared by many different restaurants. Like a very upscale food court. When it gets busy, like my visit, it’s harder to find a place to eat.
Still, come and eat, your stomach will thank you.

Nice spot for a surprisingly filling portion of pasta for the price. More authentic than a lot of pasta places. Chill staff manning the spot, cooked up some cozy and comforting mac and cheese.

This is the only place in San Jose (that I've found) that makes Carbonara the authentic (correct IMHO) way with Egg yolks and Pecorino Romano. It is always consistent, excellent quality with the pasta always being the perfect al dente and the flavors just sing. I'm biased because Carbonara is my comfort food, but it's worth going into downtown for.

Great pasta, but inconsistency pops up over different times of the day. Simple but well made pasta that is just the right texture and paired with tasty sauces.

Pasta is fresh, but bolognese…I don’t know it should be called healthy or is kind of bland…

Everything was good, not amazing but fresh pasta indeed. Caesar salad was tasty. 2 sides for a manageable portion for 2 and less. Enjoyed the plaza.

Lady was craving carbonara and she wanted to try this place. She didn't like hers maybe it was the eggs that came from a carton?
I got the spaghetti and meatballs, Noodles were over cooked and the sauce was very bland.
Very expensive for the portion you get.
They seemed to be getting confused on the orders and who did what and what needed to be done with in the 3 staff. It was pretty busy in San Pedro square since soccer games were on the screens so maybe that was it.
Will probably won't come back to this place.

Great food. We had the eggplant parmigiana and chicken/spinach ravioli. Outdoor seating with the wandering acoustics live with a great playlist. Fun Sunday lunch.

We tried their lunch menu. We got a Caesar salad with some bread along with our pasta. We had the pesto and the bolognese sauces, they were good but not amazing. Both sauces and the pasta seemed fresh.Good value for money and very convenient

This is a no-frills pasta place but the sauce and pasta itself are fresh. Their Mac and cheese is pretty good, a sure kid-pleaser. As some reviews have stated, it is the only place worth going in San Pedro Square and the prices are reasonable. I like the fettuccine and ravioli personally. However, the pasta does get cold fast, especially if you eat outside, so be sure to appreciate it while it's hot. Sometimes the line can get long but there is a self-order kiosk.

If you are going to San Pedro Square and you aren't going here, you are wasting your time. Ask for a refund, where ever you went, then go here and get excellent pasta at an insanely low rate. These guys are easily charging half of what they deserve. The food is amazing!$15 for proper pasta, made fresh, in an authentic sauce of your choice; you are an idiot if you don't spend your money here.
