Nice spot for a surprisingly filling portion of pasta for the price. More authentic than a lot of pasta places. Chill staff manning the spot, cooked up some cozy and comforting mac and cheese.
This is the only place in San Jose (that I've found) that makes Carbonara the authentic (correct IMHO) way with Egg yolks and Pecorino Romano. It is always consistent, excellent quality with the pasta always being the perfect al dente and the flavors just sing. I'm biased because Carbonara is my comfort food, but it's worth going into downtown for.

The portions were very reasonable, it was a lot of sausage for the price and the meal was, again, very good.
I would definitely come back and try a different offering. The only drawback was the seating. The concept is good and the seating is shared by many different restaurants....
