Went here for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. Formally a Michelin star restaurant and the food was spectacular. They had a set menu for spring. From caviar to mushroom with black truffles to swordfish and pork to dessert. So much food. It’s definitely an experience. We matched with wine for all courses. Portions were small as you can imagine but that’s what you get with several courses. Truly fantastic. It came with a huge price tag. Close to $1500 for 4 ppl. So...
Really enjoyed their traditional egg custard tarts/pastel de nata. I tried a couple other flavors but the original was by far the best in my opinion- can’t go wrong with the classic! I also had the coconut malasada which was well filled but would really just recommend the pastel de nata if you’re between items. Super friendly staff that don’t rush your decision making process and it’s a clean, modern interior.
I tried their malasadas—Strawberry wasn’t great, Coconut was okay, and Cookies & Cream was decent. The only one I really enjoyed was the Lemon malasada. Vanilla was sold out, unfortunately. Overall, I think they’re a bit pricey and not worth the hassle.
