Psst.....Very pleasant neighborhood bar on Divis. The decor is dark yet warm with orange hues and fabulous artwork that complements the ambiance. The simple bar offerings of beer, wine & champagne made it easy for me to cozy up to my cute date and my generous pour of shiraz. Great place for convos or cuddling in the candlelight. The staff was attentive and helpful, but I do have to agree that the early weeknight closing time kinda sucks. Just as I was getting comfy in my booth, which had a great view of bustling Divis and the pouring rain, the bartender came over to warn us it was last call at 10:30! But it was way worth the trip and there are plenty of late-night alternatives nearby. Bar 821 is a pleasurable little secret... but it didn't come from me : )

Best REAL bartenders in downtown San Jose! Best neighborhood bar in downtown san Jose....best smoking patio in downtown...covered and heated in winter...and there are chairs, tables and TV you can sip your drink and smoke at some time ...absolutly NO DOGS allowed...
