Love this lil place. Ordered for pick up on my lunch hour. 1st time. Food was great wish i had time to eat there. Will def be BKParking: There were a few spots out front but taken. I parked around the corner since i was picking up. Not sure if it was a permit needed??

Watch out for surprised intentional upcharged. Keep an eye on the menue prices or you will pay more than what's listed. This happened to us at least 3 times (after the new owner took over). They charged us at least $1 more per item of what was listed on the menue. The food is Good, but the practice of this new owner is unethical!

The food is quite good and the service is excellent! I like to get a few eggs and toast, which is tasty and under $10 if "I play my cards right".The owner Joe is very friendly and I'm glad I've gotten to know him. I'm grateful for small diners, stores, and businesses like this!There aren't many small diners downtown, so give Peanuts a try for some breakfast or breakfast for lunch!

Haven’t been in some years but I literally grew up eating at this place. Good food, good atmosphere, nice friendly people. Myun was the best! Him and my grandfather had a good report so I had a tab at this spot as a teenager lol. Ate breakfast here everyday before school

I would avoid this place at all cost. So food, service, and atmosphere is important. All 3 failed. The food was beyond bland. No flavor to the steak and egg. The eggs had some shells in it. Bread tasted like they been microwaved, and never seen hash browns gooey. The way service is set up. You have to order at the register. Then get a table. And the bad part. If you forget to order a drink you have to get back in line to order it. Weird. Atmosphere seem dark and gloomy. The restaurant need touch up as everything looks like it's falling apart. Better system to service customers. And new cooks. As they need as much help as they can get. But ultimately this is a place no one should consider breakfast as a option here.

Back in college, when I attended SJSU, I would dine at peanuts, local hangout. It must've been at least 22 years since I last ate here and it's brought back tons of memories. The menu is different and the offerings are current and pretty darn good. Service is really good and is fitting for a college hangout. Really glad to have to opportunity to come back.
