Hands down one of my favorite bakeries in San Jose! I came 30 min before closing on a weekday and was surprised to see how many people were still coming in to get their Peters' Bakery fixes before they closed for the day. The burnt almond cake is my absolutely favorite because it's the perfect sweet treat that's also not overly sweet. I'm told there is usually a line for this place but I came at a good time. The service was great and the stuff they had were fresh as well as unique. I was too full but I still.tried an bear claw and it was so crispy outside but soft inside, without being overly sweet. OK, I also tried the chocolate cake and eclairs and they were delicious too.
