“My wife and I love this place. The pho and vermicelli are excellent. Always fresh. Plus the coffees are good and strong! Kaitlyn who usually serves us is super friendly and always takes time to check on us but doesnt overdo it. We have never had a bad dish at this place. Definitely recommend. I also see vietnamese people here so this place is legit 👌🏽 😄👍🏽“

“I was seated very quickly and the service was excellent from the start. There were three servers and all of them were attentive. I was given a menu right away and they gave me a few minutes to decide without rushing me. Once I placed my order, the food came out fast, around five to six minutes, which was impressive.
I ordered a large pho dac biet and what really stood out is that their version includes tendon, oxtail, beef balls, and flank. That combination is actually pretty rare since most pho places only include some of those, not all. The portion was very generous with lots of noodles and plenty of meat, but it did not leave me feeling overly stuffed or uncomfortable. The broth was served piping hot, which was perfect for a cold day. Flavor wise, it had a subtle sweetness and was not bland at all. The salt level was just right and it honestly reminded me of an authentic Hanoi style pho.
I also ordered an avocado smoothie and really appreciated that they did not oversweeten it. You can actually taste the avocado instead of just sugar. The serving size was also quite large, around twenty to twenty four ounces, so it felt worth it. Overall, the amount of food and drink you get here is very fair for the price.
The interior is cozy and a bit older, but that adds to the charm and makes it feel more authentic. Prices are reasonable too. I paid around thirty dollars total for a very large bowl of pho, a large avocado smoothie, and a tip, which I think is a good deal.
I will definitely be coming back. This place is officially added to my personal list of Bay Area pho spots that I genuinely enjoy.“

“Food taste great, customer service was great just disappointed in the portion:price ratio. I was just expecting more because of other restaurants that I visited. In their defense, I did order to go so perhaps portions are larger when you eat in.“

“First time there and it was the best in San Jose for me I wish they would accept credit card because I rarely carry cash anymore and my order was to go I didn’t know I got so little veggies for my Pho. But other than that I was very satisfied.“

“I come here for the lemongrass chicken over rice. Sometimes I'll get a noodle soup. The fresh rolls are also very good. The service is fast and although sometimes it gets very busy, I'm usually able to get a table. The staff aren't very friendly and sometimes I feel like I'm disturbing them by being a paying customer.“

“A Cozy Spot We Keep Coming Back To
This little Vietnamese place right next to Ace Academy has quickly become our go-to after summer camp. After a long day of learning and running around, my kids always ask to come here and honestly I’m just as excited every time.
The space has a warm and cozy feel with a forest-inspired vibe. Even though they don’t take reservations, we’ve never had to wait long. They also have high chairs which is super helpful when we’ve got the whole crew with us.
My daughter calls it a hidden gem and she’s not wrong. The egg rolls are perfectly crispy and the combination chicken banh mi is our top pick. It’s packed with flavor and always hits the spot. The pho is also great especially on days when we’re craving something warm and comforting.
It’s the kind of place that just feels easy and welcoming. Good food, relaxed atmosphere, and happy kids. We’re big fans.“

“I'd give this place extra points for the nostalgia of it. Throughout my SJSU years, this was my go-to spot for pho, BBH, and bun thit nuong. Don't forget... CASH ONLY!!!
My Pho Tai Sach was decent. Broth was on the salty side, but overall light and not too oily. They did not skimp on noodles and gave SO MUCH TRIPE. Crazy portions.
The Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio is the really good here. Some of the best. Something about their pork chop... perfectly smoky! CHEF'S KISS.“

“Had lunch with sister and son here. Food is always great. Enjoyed the pork and shrimp vermicelli. It says prawn on the menu but they're not prawns. Love the rolls and the boba is always a plus!! But during this visit the Vietnamese coffee was much needed ?“
