Food: We ordered the Bun Bo Hue(spicy beef noodle soup), Banh cuon dac biet, and Com Tam suon bi cha(Broken Rice with pork ribs). Surprisingly, the portion size of the banh cuon dac biet was huge and very filling, I had leftovers We also ordered a soursop smoothie with boba and a Thai tea smoothie with boba. Both were delicious and sweet, and they didn't mess up the boba like some places tend to do The menu offers various options of dishes to choose from. They even have a vegetarian selection on the backside of the menu, which is very nice to see as some members of my family are vegetarian. Service: The staff members were so nice and friendly, especially the lady at the cashier. It's a family owned business, and they put a lot of hard work into keeping this restaurant clean and running smoothly. Space: The restaurant has plenty of open seating with windows all around. There are two seatings areas that can fit many people. It was nearly packed for the Thursday lunch rush. The room was vibrant with all the patrons seated and the sunshine shining through the windows. It seems to be a popular spot for construction workers and nurses from the nearby hospital. Definitely recommend this place and coming back for more!

Came here for lunch on a Friday by myself. The restaurant was really smoky compared to the outside, but thankfully I got sat in a seat next to a fan pointed outside. Not sure if they were having ventilation problems or something. Service was quick. I got the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio. I thought I was going to have to take home half of it but the fish sauce was so refreshing the oily cha gio went down easily and I finished the entire thing!

This is down the street from my work, doesn't get too packed for a quick drive for lunch. I believe there are 2 parking lots, I usually end up going to the back side parking lot. I've ordered to-go over the phone and dined in from here. They accept card! I've only had the marinated pork vermicelli here but it's sooo good. Lots of flavor in the pork marinade. They give a good amount of noodles and meat. The thai tea was good too.

Thanks to Julia S for introducing me to this delicious banh mi place. With a buy three, get 1 free deal, I was a lucky recipient of one of the BBQ pork sandwiches and I was impressed by the well flavored juicy meat and crunchy bread. If you eat jalapeños, beware because they are sliced thick. Although service is slow, I will definitely be coming back to get more banh mi and other things.

Bad customer service I asked a waiter for napkins and he never brought them... also I ordered chow fun and they brought it with so much juice and it will spilling out of the plate. It was like a soup

While we were there eating our pho, we saw a cockroach climbing on the wall. A male employee also noticed it and swept it off the wall with a broom. But didn't say anything to us about it. Very gross. Was also very discouraged when going through other yelp reviews to see that someone had a roach in their soup a year ago.

This has been my go to pho spot for years now! I love a good bowl of pho when the weather gets cold or someone in the family is starting to get sick. I admit, I almost always order my food for takeout so I can't speak much on the experience when dining in. However, this is a great local spot for all kinds of Vietnamese dishes. One standout is the egg rolls, I believe they use rice paper instead of egg wrappers which gives them a bubbly exterior that we absolutely love. Always a must have! The staff is very friendly as well and seems to me like it's a l owned restaurant, which we love to support.

I recently came here while visiting San Jose with my dad, brother, and nephew. When we arrived, a waiter quickly seated us in the secondary dining room and turned on the sports channel for my brother and nephew. It really helped to break the ice a bit for my brother and dad, especially because communication between my nephew and dad can be difficult due to my dad's hearing impairments. There were a lot of children seated around us (smart) so it was a lot of stimulus. Not to mention the blender going at the bar and a light being replaced simultaneously. But I will say that it was some strategic seating on their part. While the restaurant appeared to be busy, servers rushed around tables and were able to seat and serve everyone. My nephew's bahn mi didn't come out at the same time as our pho, but when we were able to catch a waiter and ask about it, the sandwich was promptly delivered. The building is obviously a bit on the older side, but pretty decently maintained as the tables and utensils were clean. The food was great and, yes, maybe they could clean around the windowsills. But overall a great setting for an affordable dinner.

Usually dont eat Vietnamese food on this part of town, but it was nice to see one here when I was in the area so we didn't have to drive east. Looks like this is the same as the Story/McLaughlin location. So just like that location, it was familiar in a good way. Good Com Tam dishes. Pho isn't their specialty but it was still good in my book. Yes there are better, but I welcome great Com Tam with good Pho. Portions of the Pho makes up for not being the best. Just like the other location I go here for the Com Tam rice plates. Overall really good. The beef is tender, great flavor, and looks like cooked fresh. Only reason for the reduction in stars is because although I' not Vietnamese, I frequest A LOT of vietnamese restaurants in the last 2 decades since I got introduced to Vietnamese food. I've ate at a lot of Com Tam places. My only criticism is the shredded pork skin has a drier than I like texture. I need to really douse it with the fish sauce. The egg cake, although good, is more firm than I like. Of course this is just my personal choices. I prefer the shredded pork and egg cake from Com Tam Dat Thanh or Com Tam Thien Huong. However, don't let those minor criticism sway you away. I wont hesitate to go here. Other than that, expect the typical local Asian style courtesy. If you dont know about it, or not used to it, likely you'll reduce the stars more, which I dont because thats just how it is. You take that away then you stepped into an American restaurant trying to be Asian lol. More positive about this location than going to Little Saigon or ESSJ, not as congested, more parking.

Fast yummy pho in a very friendly, slightly dated location. The bathroom is surprisingly spotless...

Great food! Maybe not quite the full 5 star, but it's authentic. Takes me back to when I lived in SoCal and went to family owned Vietnamese restaurants all the time. I got the ~$20 broken rice plate with all the fixings and shared with my husband. He ordered bò kho which had generous amount of beef chunks in it. Service is as you would expect from an Asian owned restaurant with one guy waiting and doing check out for everyone. Just ask, and people are more than happy to help. I've also had the bánh mì here which are quite good but regrettably on the pricier side. I would come back again if I'm in the area!

Been coming here for years. Food is good but the lack of maintenance and odor in the restaurant is forcing me away. Don't plan to come back until the place is cleaned up.
