4.5/5 Broth is amazing ! Clean and with flavor. Nice mouth feel Got the #8. Generous portion, came out hot and quick. Wish the tendon was a little more melt in mouth. Steak was a little shriveled for my liking but nice and tender. Can choose from wide or thin noodles. Will def come back.

Came in found some table with me and wife. The waitress was very aggressive after I asked her to bring some water and didn’t give us anytime to order. I asked 3 times because I was dehydrated and no response infact they actually forgot about us. I even asked the guy that brought us food and still no water was given to us. Bad customer service people have nasty attitudes wouldn’t go here again

We were recommended this place by our family during our visit in San Jose and boy, it brings back my memory of Saigon before I left the country in the '80s. Typically that aroma and taste of Southern-style pho and maybe I was a bit sentimental but it was perfect!

Self proclaimed Phonatic here, I’ve ate Pho from Toronto to LA to SJ, Pho Papa is by far, hands down, the best bowl of Pho I’ve had in my 3 decades of living in this earth.
The soup was like a hug from a long lost Vietnamese grandmama. The atmosphere and restaurant was so clean and authentic. I would highly recommend anyone to try Pho Papa at least once.

My wife and I love some good pho. I came across this place looking for lunch. Judging from the crowd running to the doors to be seated, I got the vibe this was the right place. Sevice was quick, and the pho was great! I'll definitely be back!

I ordered large size which came with 7pcs of tendon and 3 meat balls and it costed me $22 for this. This place has increased the price that is unreasonable for a bowl of Pho. I would not recommend to come here because you can get better and cheaper Pho from different places. Not coming back here again ever.

It was full on a Saturday night and I had to queue up, so I thought it would be pretty good.
I will said the price is good , $15 for regular size , soup base is great ( feel like no MSG ,not thirsty), meat was ok , noodles texture a little bit harder.
Table is small , very near each other . They need to take care of clean job .

After reading the other 1 star reviews, at least I wasn’t the only one to have such an experience.

Highly recommended- simple flavorful Pho menu. Broth was perfect for a cold winter afternoon. Also try the salty lemon with soda drink.
