This is my favorite pho spot in SJ! The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and has two unisex restrooms for customers. It's located in one of the plazas off Capitol, with plenty of parking available. Depending on the time you visit, you might have a short wait, as there's no Yelp check-in—you can only add your name to the list upon arrival. The food here is fantastic. I've tried both their chicken and beef pho, and both are top-tier! I highly recommend adding the bone marrow on the side, which is usually enough to share between two people. I've also enjoyed several of their appetizers, which were equally delicious. The service here is slightly better than most pho restaurants. They do a great job of clearing tables quickly, though there aren't many staff members walking around to refill water or check on tables. They are very efficient at getting parties in and out quickly. Overall, this is definitely my go-to pho place, and I highly recommend you give it a try!

Flavor is lacking in the pho and the service is bad. Dined in, had two bowls of beef pho and the broth was flavorless with the meat being also very bland somehow. The five spice quail was however a delight. Service was atrocious, asked multiple times for extra limes and jalapenos, I was told yes and they all either forgot or ignored me afterwards.

Pho San Jose has one of the best pho around my area. The broth is rich but light in the stomach. The egg rolls are savory and crunchy, I love the smoked brisket pho bowl with fresh noodles. Our server was very polite and friendly, I recommend this place and will keep coming here.
