pho was good! but service kind of felt like they were rushing me to order and finish my food even though it was a slow day, as i went to go pay and ask for a to go box but left my bag and things at the table to make sure im still at that table but once i paid i walked back to my food being cleaned up and put away (it was still pretty full of food/soup) i also was going to go up to ask for water as no one really came by, but with the whole cleaning up our table i just decided to leave after paying.

I've come here multiple times but with my most recent visit, I received awful service. My dad and I were sat down fairly quickly but were not approached by a server for about 5 minutes even after calling for one. A young waitress came to our table and did not look up from her ordering machine at all. She did not greet us, did not look at us once, and proceeded to get our order wrong. She had a bad attitude that completely ruined our experience. The food from Pho San Jose is also slightly bland and does not have a flavor that wows me. Not to mention, so much more costly than other pho places in san jose! I'm don't expect amazing service where but this was so extremely disappointing and uncomfortable that I had to note it. Don't think I'll be back.

The restaurant is spacious, and we were seated right away in a comfortable spot away from the sunset glare. We came for an early family dinner and enjoyed a smooth dining experience.
Service was quick. We ordered the Pho San Jose and the Braised Pork Ribs Rice—both were flavorful and satisfying. The pho broth was balanced, not overly salty or heavy with MSG. My toddler especially loved the braised pork; it was tender, easy to chew, and not too salty.
The plaza has plenty of parking, which makes it very convenient.
Overall, a pleasant meal and we’ll definitely come back again.
I didn’t feel comfortable today when a middle age man working here asking me personal questions LOUDLY in the dining space. I don’t know him so he has no right to ask me such things. He even discussed about me with another guy, also loudly after that, reguarding my job. I was coming in as your customer so treat me like one.
The food is always good though! I love pho San Jose and Pho brisket.
