Food was very bland, and tea was $4. We were given vinegar with the fish and chips. Pretty gross.

The food was very good and they were good sized portions. The staff was not very friendly. They seemed annoyed that we were asking questions like “what would you recommend?” Especially because everything on the menu sounded good. Last the atmosphere was not what was expected for an eatery that had prices like that. Nonetheless, the food was great.

Tried this place, pics look good , decent ratings but this is one of the worst seafood experiences I've ever had. Almost expecting to feel sick in a bit. I ordered the twin lobster tails plate. It took so much work to get the meat off the shell. Extremely overcooked, very chewy and tiny lobster portion. The corn Cobb tastes like like it had been sitting in boiled water all day, my gf ordered the sampler, the shrimp batter was burned, the shrimp was rubbery as well as the calamari. The fried oysters had an odd taste to them. I wish I can say I at least liked one thing here today but I didn't and I'm embarrassed to have paid over $120 for a crappy dinner here. We went to get pizza afterwards. One of the biggest let downs ever. Get your moneys worth and at least go to Scott's seafood

I've been there 3 times, consistently good. Dressed lobster roll, fish n chips, and nachos are my favorite.

Dressed Lobster Roll: Soft but flavorful. Generous amounts of lobster, I was impressedShrimp Sliders: Very flavorful, great combination of shrimp patty and greensOysters: Fantastic. Not one disappointed in their lasting and strong flavor. The one small oyster was made up for with another large in our plate of six.

I tried the coffee next door at Crema and it was good but they don't make their syrups fresh. They have a large selection of coffee styles. We are next door at pier 402 and I would come back for their HH. My tuna nicose salad had plenty of tuna and tasted fresh. The Paloma was fairly priced and was very effervescent. The only downfall was the ran out of bread bowl for their clam chowder and they served it with overly buttered sourdough slices. It was meh. It was a casual Saturday but enjoyed getting out and trying a new spot.

Went in for late lunch. Place was empty - 3 other people in the whole place who had clearly been there a while. Ordered a whole Dungeness. 45 min later - still no food. Also no staff, so I went to the kitchen doorway (no actual door) and see my cooked Dungeness just sitting on a table getting cold and rubbery. Kitchen person is making a sandwich on the same table - which wasn’t really clean. I told them I wanted a refund, got it, and left. Won’t return ever.

I'm so upset at myself for not speaking up and sending back the dozen oysters we had for lunch today. First off, I had a bad feeling when I saw that no one was really eating outside and there weren't that many cars parked in their parking lot. Its a Sunday around noon, most places, especially seafood (GOOD seafood) places are packked. when you walk in no one greets you. It's almost self order?! It was confusing and we stood there for awhile until my husband went up to the counter and got the attention of a worker. The food:Dozen oysters: red flag that the variety and sources weren't listed. They were SMELLy and tasted foul. I looked at my husband and we were like okay, maybe it's subjective? It tastes like bad ocean water?????? Tried another one and we had to just stop. It was clear these were dead oysters or oysters that were not properly stored and handled. SO mad we did not send it back or ask the staff to try it for themselves. It's appalling they would serve it but it's our fault for giving them benefit of the doubt. Lobster roll- probably wasn't live/fresh oyster. It was very tough and chewy. Generous portions on the roll but....probably previously frozen.Ceviche- was more like shrimp cocktail served on a tortilla. It was weird the shrimp were tiny and cooked and covered in red sauce. Not in a citrus base like how ceviche should be. Fish tacos- so much batter!!!!!! Where is the fish Fries-- cold and seemed like they were previously frozen generic fries Sigh. Never again

Found this place on Yelp searching for raw oysters. Didn't realize this place shared a building with Crema coffee. I was waiting at the register for a couple of minutes, and I looked in the kitchen to ask if they were open. The person said someone on the other side could help me. The other side meant at Crema. So I walked over and asked for help.Ordered the dozen mixed oysters on a half shell and the garlic noodles with lobster. The oysters came out first. Don't know what kind of oysters we got, but they were all good. One or two of the varieties were more on the briny side. Oysters were good & fresh. Oh! Oysters were also $2 each for happy hour (it was 2pm on a Sunday).Garlic noodles were very garlicky & tasty! There was a lot of lobster in it too. It's well worth the price at $17 in my opinion. I'd give a 3/5 for service since it was pretty slow. The staff was nice, but the oysters took about 15 minutes and the garlic noodles another 15 minutes. Also they didn't check on us after we got our food. Everyone was busy working on the Crema side. I think there was only one person in the Pier kitchen prepping and cooking.
