Staff is super friendly and responsive. The food was fresh, healthy and good quality. We did the one month plan. There is variety, but at the 4 week mark, many of the meals kinda started to taste similar. But that is likely more on us, as we can get a little particular about stuff. So we'll still give it a five star rating.

I signed up for a 52-week plan with Prepboys for $2,700. It started off fine, but the food quality declined fast — repetitive meals, poor taste, and zero customer service. You only get support via email, and they often don’t respond.
The real issue came when they auto-renewed my plan without consent and charged me nearly $3,000 without notifying me. I only found out through my bank. When I texted the owner, Lance, he didn’t apologize — instead tried to pitch me again. After pushing for a refund, he offered to pay me back in Zelle “in increments”. That's a crazy response its like me taking $3k from you and telling you to wait for your money. It dragged out for days, full of excuses. On my end I had to draft legal documents and even arranged for a sheriff to serve him papers just incase he didn't pay. Eventually he paid me out in Zelle and tacked on some late fees to reimburse me for wasting my time. Sure Lance the owner can argue he paid me back in full plus some but its more about the principal of it and how he does unethical business.
In the beginning I could’ve done a bank chargeback but wanted to give a local business a chance to make things right. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Sure, I could’ve immediately filed a chargeback with my bank, but I didn’t want to take that route. I genuinely support small and local businesses, and I know a chargeback can hit them with extra fees. Despite how poorly I was treated, I still wanted to do the right thing. Huge regret. Be warned: the 5-star reviews are mostly baited with 30% off promos — check the consistent 1-star reviews for the real story and on yelp as well.

The problem is with delivery -- I paid their outrageous $25 delivery fee to have my meals brought to my door. They outsourced it to some third party delivery service who, long story short, delivered the meals in the middle of the night and didn't mark them delivered. The meals were undoubtedly spoiled when I finally found them the next day.
I messaged support and was initially offered an equivalent amount of meals as compensation. After failing to actually give me the promised meals after being reminded TWICE and becoming unresponsive, I got my money back through my credit card.
I loved prepboys' meals for the most part, but God forbid there is an issue with your order...

Just started their 48-week meal plan. Week 1 and so far so good! Food is great quality and a good variety. Customer service is good too - Andy who is usually at the pickup station is nice and easy to work with. The owner, Lance, is also very nice. Excited to try them out for this year.

I was a bit skeptical of all the raving reviews but after trying out most of the meals this week, I have to say, they're all true! All the meals have tasted amazing, even the ones I was hesitant about.One downside of the prepped meals is that they can get a bit watery. But I've been draining the water after microwaving the meals and sautéing them a bit on the pan and it's way better than what I can whip up and much quicker.Love the convince and free mind space. Thanks Prepboys!

The macros were amazingly off, the food did not taste fresh like they claimed, and the prices were high for no good reason.I then found Prepboys and, I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how everything worked. I tried my best to figure it out myself but I didn't understand how to order food. However, one quick email to Naomi and she cleared up all my confusion. After ordering my food, I waited a few days and was greeted by Tom, the delivery guy. He gave me an insulated bag which I get to keep and he was just an overall nice guy. Definitely appreciated that.I cooked a meal right away and the food was amazing! I was skeptical that it would taste rubbery and gross, but man was it delicious. It tasted so fresh. I used to work for a company that specializes in healthy food delivery and have been desperately searching for something similar. Prepboys is that company!My fiancee, who is notoriously a picky eater likes the food they provide too! She refused to eat anything from the other 2 meal prep companies we ordered from, but now she's stealing my bins. I love her though so it's aight.Anyway, in short, Prepboys is an amazing meal prep service with dishes that are both delicious and healthy. They have keto options along with their regular dishes and the food is the freshest thing you will taste. I particularly appreciate the care they put into being responsive to me as a customer -- when I made a mistake on an order, helping me to revise it, and insuring I got exactly what I wanted.The strength pack is fantastic if you are bulking (or cutting) and strongly suggest the breakfasts for those times you need something healthy and on the go. Lance replied and explained they were closed on my delivery day. A mix up on their website offer and what was going to happen.He refunded my order and even offered a delivery to me the next day. Impressed with his response. Honestly his website was displaying wrong information. If I had know what was really expected, I would not have ordered for that week. But he corrected the issue for a refund and made the extra offer.I plan to keep my 2nd order for the next week due to his response of the website communication error.
