I used to come here all the time for their spicy edamame. I think they would deep fry it with some awesome spices- because of this, we would buy our boba here. Unfortunately, they must have changed the way they make it because the last few times I've been here, they have boiled it & sprinkled spices on top and once it was cold edamame with sprinkled spices- it was NOT good at all. There are so many other boba places around town, and unfortunately I'll be going to other places.

Solid boba place, super nice staff. Creative drink menu with lots of different options and uncommon options for teas including butterfly pea, osmanthus, rose and jasmine. Prices are really fair and reasonable for the current year, only $6 for a drink with toppings! I get the blue butterfly tea. :)

Cannot overstate this: can't beat the value of what this Boba Bar offers. The prices are very competitive and remind me of the rise of the boba bars during the early 2010s. This place is also one of the few boba bars left that offer the coupon codes. The one drink that kept me coming back is the Genmaicha Milk Tea; the other boba shop that I frequent solely because of the Genmaicha is one in Morgan Hill and Pure Tea Bar does not disappoint. Another recommendation is the Honeydew Milk Tea: they add real honeydew into their blend which makes all the difference; also one of the few boba bars that I know that does this. If you do not like your drinks too sweet, try 50% sweet and the flavors of the ingredients will shine a little more. We came in 40 minutes before closing on a Tuesday night and were the only ones there. The only worked in the back was very polite and gave our food in a timely manner. Definitely recommend is you have a sweet tooth.

Pure Tea Bar has been one of my go-to places mostly because it's convenient, close to work, and more importantly, offers snacks as well. Boba is decently chewy. Snacks are okay. Drinks run on the sweeter side. The ambiance is small and cute. Lighting is a little bit on the dim side. There's a few TVs on one side of the wall playing music videos or a movie. The snack menu isn't up to date. I had ordered some spring rolls, but apparently, they don't actually offer that anymore. The service was pretty quick. Granted, I came when it wasn't busy.

Pure Tea Bar is mid. It tastes okay, the boba is decently chewy. They're okay if you're in the area, but it's nothing to write home about at all. The tea sometimes tastes a bit artificial, which makes me a bit sad. The environment is pretty decent and it's fun to hang out on the outdoor patio and the service is always really nice. They are super timely and I have no complaints on anything except for the actual tea itself. The prices are pretty okay and the special teas are pretty fun. 50% sweetness feels like 100% sweetness so definitely be wary of your sugar levels. I don't think I'd come here to do any studying or work but definitely cool to go in and out. It's a local place, and it does just fine. I would recommend the fruit teas over their milk teas for sure, come if you're in the area but don't travel to visit here.

Best boba place in the area. Their lychee bits are heavenly. Try the lychee black tea or wintermelon green

Hardly ever leave bad reviews, but I feel like this one is necessary for the store to improve. Firstly, the cleanliness of the place was a major concern. The floors looked dirty, and the kitchen area didn't look any better. A clean environment is essential for me, and it made me hesitant about the overall hygiene of the place. They also had no AC extremely hot in there, which is concerning if they have liquids such as milk come to find out my milk tea ended up being spoiled! If a place can't afford to have the AC on, then they should not even be open. I ended up just throwing away both of my drinks and leaving.

I wish there were better boba tea options in this area because coming here is never my first choice! The tea isn't anything to rave about so the only reason for coming here in the first place is for convenience but after my visit yesterday I will not be returning! There were 2 customers including myself in the lobby at the time of my visit, and 1 younger looking employee doing both cashier and making orders. Instead of making our drinks he proceeds to ring up a group of people that had just walked in. He then tended to the other customer's drinks who had been waiting there long before me. Then another group of people walk in so he pauses making drinks to ring up the customers and by this time the lobby was full. He was understandably falling behind so he then firmly dings a bell when suddenly 2 older high AF looking dudes in the back rush to the front line to help out. Where were they this whole time? I know they can see through their security cams the rush of people coming in. I hear one of them saying that they'll make the slushees, which I know isn't my order since all I got was a mango green tea. So they start working on these other orders. I asked the owner (or whoever he was, he had "owner" vibes if you know what i mean) if they were working on my drink and he looked at me confused. 20 minutes passed so I decided I couldn't wait any longer because my daughter was going to be late for swim class. I only stopped here out of convenience since i'm local to the area. Honestly it was more of an inconvenience to come here because not only did I leave without my drink, they also don't accept debit/Apple Pay for orders under $10. So I paid $7 cash with tip for 1 drink and left with nothing! I'm not blaming the 1 employee. He has to work under these conditions and calling for help was probably his last resort because the people chillin in the back probably don't want to be bothered unless completely necessary. Oh and they still use powdered Coffee Mate creamer and not fresh dairy? Like, step up your game!

"Mama, you didn't pack enough food. I'm hungry!!" Said my almost 10-year old when I picked her up from summer camp.Oops! I needed a snack, too, so I decided to check out Pure Tea. Service was quick and friendly! We both shared the Sweet Potato fries. Yum!! I had the Milky Way and she had the Mango/Strawberry Smoothie. Yay! We picked the right drinks! There are board games, a clawing machine with stuffed animals, and baby toys for entertainment. My daughter and I played Connect Four for about half an hour. Head-bopping music from the flat screen TV could be heard in the background. I was really digging the songs! We've never been here before! It was cute, cozy, and fun!!! Oh, and the boba drinks were delicious!!

Arrived here with family who was visiting from LA! They wanted something sweet and closeby before they drove back to their hotel. Parking isn't an issue since the boba shop is part of a larger plaza. We got here around 3:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Love the vibe with the floral decorations, chill music, claw machine, board games, and interior. They also have outside seating with umbrella tables to get some shade. I highly am impressed with the 2 staff members and thankful because they got 12 orders of boba drinks correct!! The service was professional. They got our orders done within 10 minutes, especially for that quantity. Love how we can lower the ice levels and sweetness levels because we have some family members who need to watch their sugar intake. My extended family loved the boba with it being sweet, refreshing, and delicious.

I had the Milkway bubble tea with Carmel & a Honey pork Bahn Mi sandwich. Went with 25% sugar, but forgot to ask for light ice so the tea tasted a bit watered down for my taste. And there was VERY little Carmel in the tea at all. The Bahn mi was solid, would have liked it to be filled more ingredients, because there were a few dry bites through out the sandwich, but otherwise the flavor was good. All in all I'd come back, I feel like portions/serving sizes matched up well to the price tags

I’d say this is decent boba for the immediate area but definitely not what I’d go for if I have the usual options. Really took us back to the early 2000s boba days where things are all powder and syrup. Not saying they necessary use powder for their tea but syrup yes. Ordered their top two drinks no sugar no ice. The ceylon milk tea was so-so. Boba consistency wasn’t bad. The lychee drink turned out really sweet. It tasted just like those lychee snack in those plastic containers we all love to eat. Not really my thing since I order no sugar for a reason. Anyway, there didn’t seem to be many options in the area so this is still a good choice. Service was polite and fast.
