This review is for their page chaud and banh bo nuong. No cassava cake on a Sunday afternoon. Bummer. Pate chaud was almost as good as my favorite place in SoCal. Perfectly seasoned and a nice buttery but not greasy pastry. The banh bo nuong has the right amount of pandan, sweetness and chewy texture. CA bakehouse's banh Bo Pandan was so overpowering, I had to throw it away. This is authentic and hits the spot. I've lived there n NorCal for the past few decades and yet to find a place that can make these baked goods just as good. Glad to say, this is it. The ice coffee is a good 3.5 out of 5 stars but pairs well with pate chaud. Will be back to stock up every time i'm in San Jose. Friendly mom and pop shop. The negative reviews about the son and quality of pate chauds are false and I have a notion it's their competition.

We needed a baby shower cake and after searching we decided to to with Q baking corner. It was one of the best decision we made. I contacted Quyen through messenger and sent her an inspiration picture of what i was thinking of. She got it right away and proceeded with a quote. The whole process was very easy and efficient. When my husband brought home the cake, i was very happy with how it turned out. It was exactly what i had imagined. When our guests tasted the cake, they all asked me where i got it. Even my 80year old grandma, who does not eat a lot of cake, asked for a second serving. We liked her cake so much that i ordered my daughter's birthday cake at Q baking corner also. Quyen is very nice and so easy to work with. The cake tasted and looked great. If you like butter cream cake, you won't be disappointed. The price is fair for the quality and look. Also, her pate chaud (meat pie) very good :)

Pate Chaud and Salted Egg Pork Savory Cupcakes Wow! If you like flaky and savory Asian pastries, stop by! Mr. Chau's previously occupied this space and now it's Q Baking Corner. The sizes of their Pate Chaud and Salted Egg Pork Savory Cupcakes are big enough to get you full as a snack. The Pate Chaud pork filling is juicy and layers of the pastry are flaky (even after a few days in the refrigerator)! The Salted Egg Pork Savory Cupcakes are very light sponge cupcakes with a salted egg cream center and comes with shredded pork, a dollop of more salted egg cream, and a small piece of a Chinese sausage. I ordered via telephone for same day pick up on Thanksgiving and paid via Venmo (Zelle is another option). The customer service provided was excellent! The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

This is such a long overdue review post, but I definitely recommend Q Baking Corner for a custom cake! I was in search of a bakery who was willing to take a last minute custom buttercream cake order. I knew chances were low, but to my surprise, she accepted my order with no issues! Despite having other orders to tend to, she went above and beyond to help fulfill my order in time for my daughter's birthday. On top of being in between 2 flavors for the cake fillings, she managed to include both matcha and strawberry--my family and friends enjoyed them both! Thank you so much for bringing my ideas to life with your beautiful work. Will definitely return for future cakes.

I've always come here for donuts. Now they have meat pies which are delicious and if you order ahead of time, they can bake a few dozen to bring to a party.
The doughnuts are really good, the employees are nice, I ordered 12 doughnuts to give out to the homeless and they loved it so much, the prices are good and affordable, amazing customer service would go again.

Q Baking Corner offers decent quality baked goods, but I have some reservations. While the taste is satisfactory, I can't shake the feeling that the prices don't quite match the size of the items. It's a bit disappointing when you expect a more substantial treat for what you're paying. If you're not too concerned about portion sizes and are mainly after the taste, then this place might still be worth a try. However, if you're looking for a better balance between price and portion, you might want to explore other options.
