Definitely not the place I remember growing up. Inflated prices (almost $40 for 2 mains, 2 breads, and a few sweets), tiny portions, and very salty boring flavors. Service was impeccable though.
ever since the sikhs begsn praying on quimby road in1988 this restaurant has provided an inordinate number of memories to them#fond memories with parents at raj#should historical landmark of california#
I am impressed by the good quality of sweets. The gulabjamoons are really good, uses khoa unlike many other places. The jalebees are worth mentioning, crispy and not too sweet.I liked the mathura peda too.I will definitely recommend the place.
Few days ago a couple of friends served us some tasty Jalebis and Samosas. When I asked where they got it from, they mentioned about this place. So I decided to pick some up myself. The jalebis are made fresh every day. They are crunchy and just the right amount of sweet. Probably one of the best I have had in the states.I couldnt get the samosas this time because they are made to order and take about 15-20 mins. Will order ahead next time.
My friends really enjoyed this food will be returning soon xoxo?
1/13/2022 @12:30 No dining in. Take out only. Curry chicken have more flavor than curry lamb. Chapal roti is soft, cooked traditional. Not enough for price. Container is 12 ounces.
Best lamb curry sold as goat curry you can get. Customer service is like boiled peas in muttar panner.
Food was very bad. The chicken was tough, matar paneer was very watery.
Very bad experience, I have never tasted biriyani like this in my lifetime.
Went in on Monday morning, and had the best Chai! After trying chais all over the Bay Area, Raj Palace’s tea definitely exceeded my expectations! Thank you Mr. Jagdish! Definitely a great place to visit for their Mitai(dessert).

I've tried Samosas here and they are good. I saw some review stating Chana Bhatura is apparently good...but i found the chana pretty bland (regular chana and not brown big chana) and also bhatura was 2 small ones per plate which was not enough i felt. Probably you can avoid that. I'm yet to try other dishes.
I go here for the samosa. This place has been around for a long time so I guess it's good.
Best samosa in town.
It was impossible to place an order over the phone and they don't have a website, so minus a few stars, but I did like their Diwali setup. The sweets and treats were prepackaged separately with different quantities so you can get a small box or a larger one. I saw them bring out new boxes from the kitchen multiple times. They also had a sign on the door that said only four customers are allowed in at a time and most people (not all) followed the instructions. It took a while for me to get in, pick up a couple of boxes of sweets and leave, but that's because they only have the one register. The two young staff members were helpful and friendly.
I adore this spot! They prepare superb food, their menu is rich, The chief cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I love a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is efficient. I often eat in this place and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.
