The food, drinks, service and ambience are all on point. The location is right in DT San Jose, can't be beat. One of the best in Silicon Valley, check it out.
This was our first visit, and we had a nice time. Food and service were good. A particular highlight was the chocolate budino, which we were told was debuting it's first day of a very fancy new presentation by a new chef. The manager stopped by to ask how things were and told us a lot about the upcoming changes.
Our waitress was lovely and efficient. Food was delish and present beautifully. Pana cotta 🤌🏼I enjoyed every bite.
Lunch on a Saturday. It was a quiet afternoon. The service was great. We ordered a Cesar salad it was fresh, loved the garlic bread three nice slices; The Thousand layered rib eye lasagna was tasty, The fusilli pesto with sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms had a light pesto sauce and there was a pepperoni pizza with thin crust was a hit. We would return and to try other menu items. Great experience.
The staff were pleasant and made the overall experience a joy. Pasta was overcooked. Meat was well season. Sauce was underwhelming. Espresso Martini was bold. Overall flavors did not make a strong impression.
Gorgeous place inside and out. Excellent service. Food? Eh...it was ok. I would say the antipasto and glasses of Moscato were probably the best thing we had. Nothing was very memorable where we would go back.
The food was very good, but small portions, in general, for the price. My wife ordered bucatini with meatballs, and there were only two tiny meatballs, probably scooped with a melon baller, in the plate of pasta. The thousand layer lasagna, made with short rib beef was very tasty. They also add a 4% living wage fee, which is annoying. However, the service was excellent, the ambiance was relaxing and the meal was enjoyable.
This restaurant has a lovely vibe, very well designed inside! I was surprised to see in San Jose! We enjoyed the food and drinks as well! Would recommend a visit to this spot :)
Loved the ambiance and the vibe. Set in downtown San Jose with modern interiors and elegant decor.
We are vegetarians and was glad to many options. We ordered garlic bread and Rigatoni alla vodka pasta. Both were very flavorful. We had Strawberry Shortcake with Panacotta for the dessert. Amazing panacotta with exactly right amount of strawberry syrup for the sweetness. Couldn’t have asked for a better meal to lift up the weekend!

Pretty good food with some traditional dishes prepared in a fresh way (I had the rabbit). If you're looking for traditional Italian food, this may not be the ideal choice.

We had a bunch of apps, which I usually like more than entrees at Italian spots, but the entrees are what shined through tonight. The branzino was perfectly cooked, deboned with lots of luscious fat. Yummy broccolini as well. The vodka rigatoni was great as well, also perfectly cooked and the sauce was balanced. Lasagna was great, many layers and nice char for both texture and flavor. Bravo.

I've been here multiple times and unfortunately every time I go it gets a little worse. The first time was so good. My most recent visit was yesterday and although there were multiple seating options they placed us next to the kitchen. Now I know someone needs to sit there but that should be the table they fill last not first. We asked to be reseated and although they obliged it was with a tone. Our server was pleasant and good but she seemed overwhelmed with too many tables. Her visits were very far and few between. It took an hour to receive our entrees and I certainly didn't mind waiting but when my lasagna came it was luke warm and a little mushy. This is the dish I loved here but not this time. I ordered a side of meatballs and they were not hot as well. My wife's rabbit was at a good temperature and tasted good however, her side of rigatoni was cold and flavorless. It seems the same understaffing Issues are also in the kitchen. The quality was off. The best part of the meal was the mushroom arancini. Unfortunately, I think this will be my last visit here for a while. I like the happy hour and that may bring me back.
