The ambiance was very nice and the service was good. We got our appetizers quick, but it took a while to get our entrees. The thousand layer lasagna was amazing, but my GF's Spaghetti Pomodoro was just okay, it was missing something, maybe more basil. The creamy polenta and garlic bread were also tasty! We got the sundae for dessert, and that also took a while to get. All in all, I think we'll give it another try, my GF needs to pick another dish.

The restaurant is beautiful, everyone loved their food and drinks and the restaurant team were so gracious and accommodating to changes with our party. Our group had a great time and 10/10 would return. Pasta and espresso martinis were especially top tier

While the overall atmosphere and service of the restaurant was good, I was very underwhelmed with the food/drinks. My friends and I were excited to try out the new the Italian restaurant right in downtown San Jose. We were promptly greeted by the host and shown to our table, and the waiter was very nice. That being said, I thought my espresso martini tasted like straight and no espresso. I ordered the mushroom orzo and other than the umami of the mushroom itself, it was bland and tasted like it needed salt. One of my friends ordered the rigatoni alla vodka, and it was disappointing. It was not creamy and tasted like TJ’s jarred sauce. If you are interested in a couple glasses of wine and maybe some appetizers it might be worth it to grab a seat at the bar, but I would not say it is worth spending the entirely of my dinner there.

I came to Rollati Ristorante for Sunday brunch to celebrate my friends birthday and it was a great experience! I've seen this place on Instagram and it was nice to finally see it in person. It's definitely super beautiful inside. The interior is well decorated. Their patio also seems nice - would love to come and check it out during the summer! For brunch, they do have a limited amount of items but I got their eggs florentine (basically an eggs benedict) and the peach bellini (prosecco). The eggs florentine were yummy! The potatoes were cooked very well. Another person at our table got the Italian toast and it looked so good and large. I would come back next time to try that. As for service, they were absolutely amazing! Our sever was super kind and made sure we were taken care of. She also helped us take photos and was sure to get allll the angles. Overall, this was a great experience and I'm ready to come back and try their pastas!

2 days in a row eating lunch here. 10 min walk from convention center, so just far enough away from the crowds. Food and ambiance is good!! Will be my go to for San Jose conferences

This food review is only for vegetarian stuff. The food here is okayish at best. The only item I liked was pizza and everything else was just tasteless (tried pasta, fried cheese, potato, lasagna). This place is good for dates with a fancy ambiance but the food definitely needs improvement.

Came here for my birthday, started with happy hour with a couple of drinks they were just OK. Service was average. Ambience is really pretty in here. I would definitely come back for happy hour. Not sure about dinner. Not a big fan of when you have to order your sides à la cart. Other than that not too bad but nothing amazing.

Nice Italian restaurant In Bay Area. Food quality is good, ambience is great. Good for date night. However it’s very hard to find parking for this restaurant and it’s in fact a nightmare. Also felt that food quantity is less for the price. Good for a one time visit.

We were a party of 8 and were celebrating a graduation. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very inviting and lively. We were seated in a little alcove and it was perfect for your group. Our server, Shannon was fantastic. Very friendly and efficient. She helped with recommendations and everyone at our table enjoyed her service. We began with the Fritto Misto , Fried Mozzarella and Fried Brussel Sprouts for our appetizers. The marinara sauce was delicious and a great accompaniment for the mozzarella and Fritto Misto. Brussel Sprouts were fried to perfection and were also a hit at the table. The various dishes ordered for mains included, 2 pizzas - one Spicy Pie and one Smoked Pie. The spicy did have a kick to it but perhaps a bit too much of the honey spice. The Smoked pie was perfection . Chicken Di Parma was also ordered. A generous portion of chicken and the right amount of sauce. Chicken was flavourful and the sauce didn’t overpower the dish. The Linguine Alle Vongole had a fair amount of clams and the pasta was fresh. Excellent and flavourful sauce with the pasta. Charred Salmon Oreganata was beautifully presented on a bed of Farro with spinach and it too was delicious and cooked perfectly. The hit of the table was the Rabbit Agrodolce. Most had a taste and all agreed it was delicious and would have been ordered. The polenta was underwhelming but a change from a garlic mashed potato or something similar. While booking the reservation, I mentioned it was a graduation celebration. When we arrived the graduate was presented with a card by Rollati, as well as a dessert after our meal and a personal congratulations from the manager(?). It was these extra touches that impressed our group of 8. It was a more than reasonable price point and All in all a memorable meal and dining experience.

Excellent! From service to food, to wine selection. Everything was perfection. Best chicken piccata I've had in a very long time. The pasta with clams for my companion was on point! And the chicken parm, plate sized and tasty. Go!

Incredibly disappointed with my experience here. Had a reservation at 6:45 on a Friday night and heard great things. First impressions were high as it's a beautiful space and looked like a great spot. Within 5 minutes of sitting down, we were asked if we were ready to order three times. I couldn't tell you the waiters name as he never bothered to introduce himself. We ordered two cocktails which came out very quickly. Unfortunately, it was the worst cocktail I've ever had in San Jose. We were also immediately swarmed by flies on the patio. They were dive bombing our drinks. By the time our appetizer (mozzarella sticks that I'm pretty sure came out of a bag) came out two minutes after ordering, there was a pile of dying bugs all over the table. When we asked to be seated elsewhere, we were told the only option was a couch in the lounge which is less than ideal for eating pasta. We decided to forgo dinner and just get the check. $60 for two undrinkable drinks and a frozen appetizer. We went to Devine for dinner instead. I added one star for the interior ambiance but won't be back.

I had a fantastic birthday dinner with outstanding drinks and food. The spaghetti alla Limon was hands down the best part of the meal, with its perfectly cooked pasta and mouth-watering Limon sauce. It was an incredibly satisfying dining experience.

Came here for a celebratory dinner with some friends and the overall experience and environment of the restaurant and its service made it very enjoyable. This is definitely a great new gem that has opened up in the heart of DTSJ and would recommend. My group ordered a few cocktails, several dishes and dessert. The meal was delicious and satisfied everyone by the end of the night.

Good food and good service just check your left overs because they don't box table side. We had leftover lasagna and it wasn't put in the box. Also maybe I'm used to chain restaurants but no bread was served so that was a bummer too. Just go early if you don't want to wait.

The ambiance is great. The pizza was soggy at the bottom and the pasta was quite bland for my taste. The tiramisu is big and tasty, but the cream was too much compared to lady finger ratio so it gets heavy quickly. Service was slow on a Friday but the server is quite nice. Won’t return.
