The service here has always been outstanding. I've brought a group of 20+people (we called ahead of time, but they don't take reservations) and they accommodated us graciously. Most recently we came in at 9pm on a Thursday for some burgers and we were grateful the kitchen was still open! A good sports bar with cheerful service.

Great fish n chips, a little pricey but not too crazy. Nice attentive wait staff. Very accommodating. Give them a try!

Awesome sports bar. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and fast + fresh food. Would recommend to anyone visiting the downtown area, whether it be for a conference or a sharks game. 10/10

This review is not based on the food or drinks, we left before we got any. After being greeted and seated by a gentlemen working the hostess station, we sat at our booth for close to 15-20 mintues without any acknowlegement from any of the two waitresses that were working in our area. One of which came to the table behind us twice and never even said one word to let us know she would be with us soon. Actually I felt like she was ignoring us on purpose. Well there are plently of places to choose from in that area and that's exactly what we did! We found a better spot own the street and reading the reviews below I'm glad we did! Call bar rescue asap, you would defintely qualify for his help!

I wish I knew what the food and atmosphere was like but before we even opened the door half way, the hostess started yelling at us that we couldn't come in, don't bother, we aren't serving alcohol or food. This was at 9 PM on a Saturday.

It has been a long time I have been in an establishment where it has been chaos from start to finish. That ended this last weekend. Place was packed with NFL Divisional Playoff fans and clearly understaffed for the occasion. The servers lacked appreciation for the frustration from patrons taking place around them. Our long drink adventure started by sitting down and waiting for anyone to acknowledge us while seated. Then we had our order taken - just drinks - with no warning on how long we would wait. During the waiting and waiting, and waiting the couple next to us left their table and walked out after only getting water with no order taken. Once the drinks arrived, we were greeted with an extra ingredient, a dead (I think) bug catching a ride on the top of one our drinks. Lively sports bars may be hard to come by in downtown San Jose, but give this place a hard pass no matter how desperate you are to watch a game.

Completely understaffed for a Saturday playoff game. I have a lot of patience for servers when this happens but the staff here didn't appear to have a sense of urgency either. Also, there was a bug in my friends drink.

Awesome spot to watch a game, grab a drink or two! TV's all around, great service, fun food options. Get there early or else you may be waiting a long time!

Been coming here for years. This place always has the friendliest service and I always feel comfortable here. Not to mention the amount of Tvs. All the games are always on and if u want something in particular on, they will always accommodate. Ask for the breakfast shot during football games on sunday morning!

Rookies downtown location is a perfect location to watch sporting events or to just go for a bite. They have a nice beer and liquor selection for you to choose from. The panoramic TVs around the bar is perfect to watch multiple games. I always get great service and on Sundays they have a good breakfast menu. NFL Sundays is an all day event for the chums and myself. I start with an Irish Blitz and El Jefe Burrito its a shareable portion. They have some good appetizers to choose from the wings are a must you can order dry and ask for sauce on side. If you like spicy try the Habanero Black Diamond. The kicker is the massive nachos they will feed 4 so order with caution or do a nacho challenge. The burgers and sandwiches are also good and have options to choose from. I usually go with the French Dip because like to dunk it like it's quesabirria. The City Slicker and Rookies Burger are also good choices. Overall it's a nice atmosphere with good eats and great staff.

The best sports bar in downtown San Jose. Every game across every sport. Great service and drinks. 10/10

The experience here was terrible at 2:00pm today. First off there is one waitress working for the entire restaurant. She was not the problem actually she was great! Very nice and smiling even though you can tell she was just running around everywhere. She brought my beer with a fly in it and I had to return it which was gross. We got our food which was ok but I had to walk around to find napkins because we weren't left any and I couldn't find anyone. I mean I could have literally walked out of this place and I'm sure no one would have noticed for a good 10mins.
