Sadly my expectations were high. It wasn't busy at all but when ordering it does not look like the food advertised in the videos and on the menu .
I ordered the seven seas soup and as it was being delivered to the table the broth look like dish water. It was clear and dingy. The shrimp did not look appetizing at all. They looked over boiled and upon further investigation the shells of the clams were littered with barnacles when pointing it out to the server. She didn't have anything to say other than would you like me to have them remake it for you? I explained young lady if there's that many barnacles in that. That means the whole batch that you have is infested with barnacles. So I ordered the fisherman's platter was not to my expectation. Maybe they were mad that I pointed out the obvious.
Honestly, you would think for the money that you're paying that you would get better quality service. The soda pops are $4.50 for a 16 oz cup of ice. The beers are $18 it was a big letdown butt. Perhaps they will make changes in their presentation and maybe invest in air conditioning. But until then you should fail the seas of Rosie's fish City with caution

The service was fantastic! The food was delicious. The super Michelata's was amazing! Good chips and salsa, fried oysters, grilled oysters in a half shell with the works on top. The chilaquiles with the lobster was good. The clam chowder is really good. It's worth the trip to try this place.

If you enjoy lobster I suggest trying it. My partner loves lobster and I saw this place on Instagram. He got a shrimp fettuccine bowl with lobster on top and he really enjoyed it. I got the lobster fries which came with steak and shrimp and a lobster tail. It was pretty good and I would go back and already recommended to some friends who like fish. They seemed to have. A wide variety of fish and were reasonably priced. Servers were fast and super sweet. I enjoyed the potato skins also and the pina colada was really good.

We checked out Rosy’s after seeing it on TikTok, but honestly, we left feeling underwhelmed. The idea of fries and steak inside a clam chowder bread bowl just didn’t make sense to us. I could see it working with just the lobster on top, but the whole thing felt over the top in a not so great way.

Instead, I played it safe and got a regular clam chowder bread bowl, and while it was decent, I’ve had much better, fresher-tasting chowder elsewhere. The crab cakes were also a big letdown, clearly frozen, which was disappointing.

That said, service was good, and they had plenty of seating for our large group, which was a plus. But overall, I was hoping for so much more based on the online buzz. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

Rosy’s Fish City was a big disappointment. The pictures on Social Media made it looked good but the food was not what I expected. It was so random. The lobster dish on top of a bread bowl filled with fries, some shrimp and meat was so random. The clam chowder was too thick for my liking. And boyfriend’s fish taco dish was so random. A plate of steamed broccoli, fries, a bowl of chowder and the fish tacos were salmon. We were not used to having salmon as the fish for fish tacos. Usually it would be some rock cod fish. The lettuce in the fish tacos were too much. No cilantro or anything to make it stand out. And the ceviche came out served in a plate and not in a bowl but the ceviche was the only thing I liked there. Overall, the food was ehh ok but will I be back again, I highly doubt it.

Definitely NOT the best chowder in the bay area. It's overhyped by social media. It's decent but it's not worth coming back. $13 for a small (fist size) chowder. Other dish are good but nothing out of the ordinary.

The lobster had no taste. Basically everything we got was tasteless. To expensive. We didn't even get napkins or forks or spoons. Don't believe everything Instagram says. I believed it and went and was very disappointed.

The fish and chips and the snapper sandwich were absolutely delicious, and the portion size was incredibly generous! If I could, I’d give it a 10/5 rating. Highly recommend!

I recently dined at Rosy Fish City and had a wonderful experience. Myra, our server, was quick, friendly, and efficient from the moment we sat down. I ordered the halibut, which was perfectly cooked—light, flaky, and full of flavor. It paired beautifully with a glass (or two!) of Chardonnay.

As someone with a shellfish allergy, I appreciated that Myra was attentive to my needs. My salad initially arrived with shrimp, but she was very understanding and had the kitchen remake it without hesitation. If you’re also avoiding shellfish, just be sure to clarify when ordering. Overall, I had a delightful meal and would highly recommend Rosy Fish City for both the food and the wonderful service.
