I could give negative stars if I could! Ordered a gobi manchurian that I found out was friend in the same oil as fish. It was obvious from the taste. This is extremely shameful on their part as I am a vegetarian and it's not acceptable when they're reusing cooking oil and causing cross contamination!

So we ordered from this place 4 times already and the 1st 2 times the food was excellent. Because I have worked in the restaurant business for 21+ years, my expectations can be high HOWEVER I am very understanding and forgiving. I get it. Stuff happens BUT this is the second night in a row that we have ordered dinner from here and have had it cancelled. Yes. Cancelled. 2 nights. In a row. What's the deal? We are ordering from from DoorDash so perhaps they are playing a part. But, when speaking to our dasher the 1st time he said they cancelled it. Which was weird considering we ordered before closing. Tonight, the same. Dasher texted my husband "the restaurant cancelled your order. Do you mind re- ordering?" I said um- no. At 9:20 my husband called the restaurant directly and no answer. 2ce. So then I called annoyed. Phone rang and rang finally a woman picked up. I explained the situation repeating the more than once as she kept asking for a name on the ordyee. There was a bit if a communication barrier but finally she said- 'it was picked up'. So again, I don't know if this is a door dash issue or restaurant issue. In my opinion, given my experience it was probably both. Right now small businesses are going thru challenging times. Especially restaurants and especially now. I hope the owners see this and are able to fix the problem because this place is indeed one of our favorites. We both been to Hyderabad and know what good Indian food is. This place is pretty good. I just hope they fix these logistical problems.

Naan was not crispy at all. And the 2 curries I ordered were both having twice the amount of salt one can and should consume. They offered me cash back over the phone but I requested to take care next time.

Ruchulu looks unimpressive and is priced accordingly, but they serve the the best indian food in the San Jose area (that I know of). Good meats and authentic spices abound. The birianis are particularly recommended.

This place is AMAZING! They honestly have the best wraps I have ever tried. They truly deserve a 5 Star! Definitely recommend you stop by and try their tasty chicken wraps!

This is clearly one of the coolest place in the area. Anytime I go there I am exceedingly glad. They maintain their high level service and the highest level of dishes they serve. You can never go wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommended.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we ordered chicken fried rice with Samosa and curry. The samosas were horribly made, way too much oil and no taste. The fried rice , they put seeds (Jeera seeds)!! and chinese chicken salad in the rice!! Who does that?? I called the restaurant and the lady started to get angry and said this is indian restaurant, we do not care , we are just here to make money!!!! PLS TAKE CAUTION BEFORE EATING OR TAKING OUT FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

Tasty and spicy Indian food in downtown. That's a rare find. We have been here with hesitation on the taste of food as it's situated in downtown but, to our surprise food was tasty and well done. We have ordered Goat Biryani, Gobi Manchurian, Kadai Paneer and Naan. Everything was too good, especially Biryani, spicy and aroma filled. Once done manager came to us to check out how the food was. That was a great gesture from him. It's pretty new restaurant. Hope they keep up with the tastes and service. We will definitely come back here for another tasty meal.
Order egg biryani and if you like super spicy and can handle the heat then this is your place. Too spicy for my liking.

I want to give this place 0 stars. After ordering the food through doordash, and waiting for about 1.5 hours, they sent us chicken biriyani instead of vegetarian biriyani. I really want to get an answer for how horribly unorganized this place is! You should be closing your restaurant soon or stop associating yourself with doordash and DO US ALL A FAVOR BY ANSWERING THE PHONE. DON'T CHICKEN OUT BY NOT PICKING UP CLIENT CALLS.

Most crisp and flavorful gobi manchurian, fresh and freshly spiced channa masala, fresh naan, delicious galabjaman. This place is SO good! Not sure why it doesn't have a higher rating. We've been looking for a good go-to Indian restaurant in San Jose and this will now be it! Give it a try!
