Cool patio. I wish they had more interesting local beers

The place is great. Pizzas are better. I ordered Farmer's Market and Veggie Deluxe pizzas. Both were delicious.

WAS SERVED RAW WING(s), besides that they tasted fine, but no excuse to give customers salmonella. ??. Decent service, but overpriced for what you get. Will not be returning. Very disappointed as the first time was much better.

It's a nice place to go after walking my dog at San jose state. They have personal pizza and craft beers . They are dog friendly and my small dog can be free without a problem at the outdoor seating area which is fenced.Kid-friendliness: Yes outdoor area is fenced.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes , everything is accessible. There was a customer in a chair on the patio when I was ther.

Order a pale ale, guy serves me a hazy beer that isn't labeled as hazy on the beer list. He argues with me instead of pouring a beer I want.

Great beer selection. Really good pizza. Close to campus. Wish they were playing different music though.

Scrolling through maps, I came across this delicious gem. I had the El Presidente pizza and WoW. You can really taste passion when someone enjoys their work. I complimented the chef.

My daughter is a student across the street at San Jose State University and Sammy G's is super convenient! My wife and I treated her to dinner after spending a fun day together around San Jose! The customer service is fantastic here and the food and atmosphere are perfect! The pizza was outstanding and I really enjoyed talking to the young man and young lady behind the counter! They provide a fantastic dining experience! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience! See you soon!

Before the San Jose State University's Men's Basketball game, I hit up a friend to ask, "Hey, wanna get Sammy G's?" With a determined grin, we walked to this fine establishment that has served at SJSU's events in the past! We arrived around the fall's pitch dark of 6 PM. If you're a local, you're well aware Downtown can be rough, so make sure to bring a friend! The service is as simple as getting to the cash register, ordering your food, then retrieving your number. Quite frankly, the most difficult part was choosing which delectable dish to order! There are many mouthwatering options, such as the renowned Buffalo Mac and the unique Banh Mi pizza. My buddy can't digest gluten, I wanted meat, so we stuck with the 10 inch Robert Classic with gluten-free crust. Cost: For a college student, definitely affordable! The 10 inch pizza itself was $14, which is inexpensive given it suffices two meals or can be shared! Taste: This was my first time trying gluten-free crust, and I thought it was on par with other pizza place's crusts! Now that's saying something! My buddy enjoyed her pizza, gobbling it up with excitement she can enjoy the delicacies of pizza without severe gluten allergic reactions. I snuck a glance at the kitchen, where I watched the sauce carefully poured over along with fresh ingredients that'd tasted its quality. I was picking the sausage pieces off the cardboard box, even though I was full! You can never go wrong with bell peppers, red onions, sausage, pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms. These flavors meshed together well, creating a delightful dinner in my stomach! I've got to visit Sammy G's more. After this experience, I'm aching to try the Banh Mi, Buffalo Mac, and Totchos on my next visit.

IF (and that's a big if) they can get the order right, and IF (and that's a big if) they cook the pizza long enough, it can be a really good pizza. I live in the neighborhood and REALLY have tried to support them, but if I am being honest 9 out of 10 times they mess up the actual order and 7/10 times it's under cooked. I have Yelped and written a letter to the owner and received no response. Maybe it's just a money laundering front because they really don't seem to give two F's about what customers say about their pizza.

Food was great!! It's the customer service that was terrible. We went for some quick pizza and wings and the woman that the counter was rude the whole time. Every time after we asked a question she replied with a slick comment. So sad that people who are in charge of customer service act like this.

When I fist had this pizza, it was off the hook. Slowly I have witnessed the food and quality of service go down and its a bummer. We were for the price we paid. Unfortunately we won't be back.

Reasonable prices with generous portions and good food makes for a great time. Service was very fast and friendly.
