Expensive
The staff is hard to understand
The beef brisket was more like jerky than barbecue.
Their beef ribs dry and they are nothing more than just big bones with the little meat left after boning a rib roast
All in $80 wasted

Holy beef rib!!! Been coming here for a few years now, and hands down our favorite BBQ spot in the Bay Area. The beef rib last week was something out of this world, unbelievable size and smoked perfectly. The brisket was juicy and excellent too. Really can’t go wrong with any meat option here!
Everyone working there is amazing and this is truly a local gem that I will forever keep on supporting. Their combo platter with 3 meats has got to be one of the best deals in town (it’s not cheap, but I think the value matches the price — don’t forget the cash discount!). Consistently good food and service, plus their new happy hour from 4-6 for $5 pints is awesome. Certainly will be back!!!

My favorite BBQ place in San Jose. I love their beef ribs and coleslaw and my wife gets their pulled pork sandwich all the time. They can get busy around dinner time but we rarely have trouble finding seating because they have a lot of it. The staff is nice and polite as well.

Good food, the ribs stick to the bone a lot, strange atmosphere, but all around pretty good.

(online take out order) Good baby back ribs. The brisket talked ok but it was dry and they gave me lean instead of fatty even though that was my order. The beef ribs were tough, I suspect they were over cooked... (They also tasted ok)

Came in at 5pm on a Thursday. Parking no problem in the free parking lot, and plenty of seats to go around.
Food was excellent, loved the garlic bread and to me the meats didn't even need sauce and was good enough as is.
Service was good, staff were plenty friendly.
Atmosphere was nice, was relaxed with plenty of casual conversations and people around.

The bluegrass music was great. The ribs were a bit dry which I wasn't expecting. The service was forgetful. They didn't bring utensils or anything extra
plate we requested.

Rustic homey place serving authentic Carolina pulled pork barbeque and delicious ribs. Smaller plates are available like sandwiches if you're not too hungry. Fresh made daily in house macaroni and potato salad and coleslaw are all great accents to the awesome meat. Love it here.
Got food poisoning there :(
