Ordered shrimp teriyaki and it was just okay. The vegetable was tasteless. The shrimp were over seasoned, they were too salty. I wish I could love this place because the food is really good and the service is so fast but this last time I was really disappointed. I paid about $13 for the chicken teriyaki plate only to get about 10 pieces of chicken! They're generous with the rice and somewhat the veggies but really ration the chicken. The flavor is there but the food almost isn't. It seems the last few times I've been coming here the portion of chicken got less and less but this time was something else... I won't be coming back here but if this is really what you're craving make the drive over to Oakridge mall to Sarku Japan.

The food is extremely expensive. No customer serviceAt all. For 14.00 dollars they only give you very little chicken.. The noodles is dry. VERy rude service and so not worth your money

Its a fast meal. It seemed slow at this place so I opted for this since we were in a hurry. I got the Beef plate and it was bad. Taste was ok but the rice is hard and meat is really tough. Also vegetables are soggy. I would not be back. Sarku is way better!

I was going to leave an extensive review for this place but when I looked at their yelp I am not surprised why they have such very bad ratings. The people here don't know how customer service affects the longevity of a business because otherwise they would've been paying attention to the already plummeting reviews they have here. They literally told me I had to wait for a manager to order because I wanted some pickled ginger. Was totally willing to pay for it but the manger went on a lunch break so they told me to wait. Long story short I didn't buy anything and definitely never will. In my opinion if someone is willing to throw money at you; you take it as fast as you can. Good luck.

They barely gave me any chicken in my order and the noodles were every soft and wet. By the time I reached the bottom of the food container, I was met with a flood of water or oil. There is a similar place at Oakridge that serves cheaper, more quality, and more quantity food. I would prefer eating at the neighboring McDonalds than buy this again.

I went there yesterday to buy three items for take out. I was there around 1100 am. I ordered 2 chicken teriyaki and 1 beef and shrimp teriyaki. This place opens at 1000 am. Normally the meat are cook once orders are placed but the meat I was given tasted like they were cooked ahead of time. The beef was tough and dry. It was like I was eating a leftover food. Yuk.

This place is extremely similar to Sarku japan in terms of food variety and cooking. However sadly its a more inferior version as the food/cooking is abymissal.I ordered a plate of Teriyaki Chicken with noodles, and yeah there were issues.-Some Chicken parts were raw or too hard to eat-A portion of the vegetables were ice cold frozen crunchy-The Noodles aren't even cooked properlyYeah I try to be generous yet I couldn't even finish the plate. Don't go here
