We went for brunch and everything tasted great. We were seated quickly and the service was excellent. I am picky with sunny side up eggs and they were cooked perfectly.

Not great. Understand there was a conference nearby but hit there and they only had a Buffett with a fish, a meat, horrible rice and a salad. We were told no menu today after sitting down. Service non existent and food forever to get our bill so we could leave. Also to be fair - Did also have breakfast there earlier in the morning which was pretty good food wise and service.

Who would've thought a restaurant in a hotel would be five star quality. San Jose downtown Hilton does not disappoint. Lloyd, our server, did everything he could to make this white tablecloth dining perfect. I had the NY Prime Strip cooked perfectly. It was a nice size steak, and charred on the outside and very rare on the inside. Perfect. My spouse had the chicken tortellini with mushrooms that my spouse raved about. Cocktails and wine were delicious. Hope you enjoy.

It was such a pleasure to have Brunch at Secco. I came with a group of 10 friends and they were able to accommodate. The place is beautiful decor and clean. Service was excellent from Horacio and Leo. They sang Happy Birthday to my cousin and brought her a yummy dessert. The food was absolutely delicious! I recommend the Salmon Salad and the Marscapone French Toast! You also can't go wrong with the Avocado French Toast. I will definitely come back. Price was good Value for the Service and Quality of Food.

I'm so disappointed! I chose this hotel restaurant as I saw the great reviews on Yelp and worked painstaking long with the F&B team to book a dinner for 15 people. This restraints is inside the Hilton San Jose which used to the be Fairmount. It was actually quite empty when we went (the restaurant is on the first floor and the bathroom is so far away). Since it was a large group we opted for the prix fixe menu. I got the beet salad which was average and the short rib. I ate two bites of the short rib it was so bad. It just tasted like mushed baby food. I did like the bread service but was sorely disappointed in the entree. Dessert was fine - you can't really mess up a tiramisu. Where they shine is the service - the staff was fairly attentive - and their cocktails! Not the best cocktails I've had but they're definitely on the better side! I wouldn't make it a point to eat here in San Jose - but if you're staying at the hotel - it's not a bad eat. Pricey, but not awful.

The prices are a bit higher then normal even for a hotel restaurant, but the food is good. Service is chaotic at the bar, they need a better system in place for sure. Staff is friendly and drinks are good. Burgers are cooked well and they have good fries. The chicken nuggets only fine with three, for the price they should give at least four of not five pieces. Also the hours are weird and don't feel consistent of when this place is open. Especially during a convention it should be open more hours especially on weekends

So I was on a four day three night business trip in San Jose. . I stayed at downtown Hilton and I spent all my evenings at Secco. I fell in love with Caymus walking fool for red blend. It's $25 a glass and worth every penny . It was so amazing. The food was great but I've got to tell you about the outstanding customer service and personal attention in detail that Piluchi gave me.. She called me by name every single night when I returned,; she remembered what I loved on a menu. She was attentive, sweet hospitable, and we exchanged our wine knowledge and grew each others wine arsenal. I can't say enough about Hilton. The bed was amazing. Goose down Matress to & goose down pillows. The smell of soap is a great thing . -concierge's checks with me every single day. I use Lyft every day and they were ran outside exactly on time. i-they have a world class modern elevators. Totally state of the art. It chooses a bank of elevator elevators. It's the fastest for you. If you're not Hilton honors reward member and you're not spending time at this beautiful downtown San Jose location, you are totally missing out. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. It's a really cool ambiance. It's modern eclectic. It's comfortable and they have a hidden wine ; Caracan Napa Valley!! & Camino locally brewed here in downtime San Jose! That's pretty epic.!! Next time you come to Secco look for Piluchi, the bartender

Great little hotel restaurant with very fast service, friendly staff, fresh food and a lot of options especially for breakfast. I ate here every day during our stay at the Hilton and really enjoyed their high quality meals. I can strongly recommend the Avocado Toast with eggs as you can see in my photos its super fresh and tastes amazing. The Casadia was also very good and the meal portion was huge so you can easily order it and share with someone else. Overall really recommend.

Piluchi at the bar helped me make a drink that was exclusive to the convention I was attending. She allowed me to try it to make sure it tasted great, and I loved it. The ambience was also amazing, it was calming and quiet, and the bar looked pristine. 5 stars every time!
