Recently moved into San Jose for school, I’ve been trying many different cuisines & restaurants but THIS ONE caught my taste buds & attention today!! I went in today (A Thursday) around 6:00 PM, a good amount of people were dinning. I say plan ahead if you want to get a table, I was in luck because it was just myself sooo being seated was quick! It took atleast 8-9 minutes to be attended because they were busy, which I think is okay and not bad!!! The attendee was super sweet and allowed me to pick my table!! Now for the part you came for… CUCUMBER SALAD amazing. I also ordered pork & shrimp wontons in chili oil which were sooo savory & yummy, they are a bit smaller though!! AND OH MY WOW the spicy pork sheng jian bao (pan-fried dumplings) were phenomenal!!!! Please check this place out whenever you have time.

Serious Dumpling in San Jose is seriously good! I had the wontons in chili oil and garlic noodles with beef, both were bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The chili oil added just the right kick, and the noodles were rich and satisfying. Service was fast and friendly. A must visit spot for dumpling lovers!

I came with a friend and was greeted by quick service and delicious dumplings. The xiao long baos were very soft and juicy, the minced pork noodles were tender, and the chocolate xiao long baos melted in your mouth.

Definitely, not enough curry sauce given with the curry rice dish. Also, if you eat outside, I hope you enjoy a view of homeless people pushing shopping carts around.

Nice atmosphere. Ok service. Food lags behind even dough zone.

Has indoor and outdoor seating, very nice and clean atmosphere when I went on a Friday night. We got one dumpling, one wonton and the garlic noodles with added veggie and shrimp. The chicken chili oil wonton tasted perfect! A hit of spice but not too much. In the future I would get the garlic noodles by themselves. The shrimp and veggies were just cooked separately and placed on top rather than mixed together so they lacked a little flavor on my perspective (the shrimp and veggies that is, not the garlic noodles.)

Dumplings are a bit doughy. The giant soup dumpling is a must try, delicious!

The waiter with the bad attitude and worse haircut (Anthony N) failed to mention a 20% gratuity fee, and included an additional tip despite missing 2 orders of food. Had to be reminded 4 times that items were missing during the span of 1 and a half hours. Had to cancel items because the rest of the table had finished eating. When inquiring about the 20% automatic gratuity fee, the bad haircut man, was obnoxious and argumentative stating very condescendingly “that’s what an auto gratuity is and sorry you couldn’t see”. His awful attitude is the most laughably pathetic attempt at customer service. Do better Anthony, and get a better barber.

Love this place. Just moved nearby in 1 South apartments and this restaurant is conveniently located across the street in san pedro square. Food was great! Service was awesome and love the vibe. I’ll def be back. Currently exploring my new neighborhood/ downtown and this spot stood out due to service and food quality.

If you want to have to go food avoid this:
They served dine-in customer first.
I ordered one dumpling and one noodles, and waited 30 minutes.
Meanwhile table joined after me already finished their meal.

Pretty chill dumpling spot. It’s got nice food and a pretty tight atmosphere.

The service was mostly quick as they sat us down quite quickly. Once we ordered the dumplings came soon after. I enjoyed the shrimp soup dumpling the most. The xiaou long Bao with the shrimp sticking by out tasted really good. The shrimp on top really made it stand out. The spicy wonton dumpling also was a classic taste. But the curry naan break was good too. It tasted Ike quality Japanese curry on scallion pancake.

Overall pretty tasty food; with a lot of interesting and different items on the menu.
