Seven Seas is one of the last remaining small sushi bars in San Jose. No boats, no all-you-can-eat, Seven Seas focuses on quality over quantity. We live in Japan Town and Seven Seas is our go-to place for take-out sushi.

I ordered the Sushi & Sashimi menu item (less than $25), and not 10 minutes later was presented with this beautiful spread of fish. It tasted high-quality and delicious, and came with a small bowl of miso soup alongside. Absolute gem of a restaurant.

Sushi was good, maybe a little pricy but so is everywhere these days. I was just bummed because we sat under a pretty loud TV with cnn on and we asked them to turn it down and they weren't game to. No one was watching jt, the place was empty. Just sort of wierd. But elsewise, nice enough people and food.

Came here looking for sushi in DTSJ. I’m a big sushi lover and this restaurant had the best rolls I’ve ever eaten. Agadashi and Pink Dragon Roll were phenomenal. Mango mousse was also very good.

Pretty bitchin’ place! Service is a bit slow sometimes. But food is great and they are super friendly. Bitchin-topia!

A bit of a hole in the wall, but the food was good and service was friendly. The menu had dozens of specialty rolls with lots of unique flavor

It's not the fanciest place but it was delicious ?? we got a couple of traditional rolls and some less traditional ones and they were all so good! The service was great, the owners are so sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back!

The food tasted amazing. The owner was very happy to recommend some menu items for vegetarians. They have a ton of vegetarian rolls options. Not the greatest of ambiances. But as I was in search of a tasty sushi place. This fits the bill perfectly. Also the place has very reasonably priced items.

The worst beef teriyaki I've ever had. Hard fat in every bite. Also tasted like that armpit beef taste. The teriyaki sauce was also very light and tasteless. The chicken katsu was really salty. Also came with a thimble of katsu sauce. Miso soup really salty as well. Tempura average with tasteless tempura sauce...I feel they're watering it down to cut costs...? Anyways. Never again. Tired of these places in good spots where they continue to skimp on their original quality at the customers expense.

Great food and amazing service! Will come back. I wish some of the dishes were a little cheaper, but overall decent price.

Some of the best Japanese food I've ever had. Not only was the food delicious and priced fairly, the service was spectacular. Cute little mom and pop restaurant. The staff cares and checks in on you frequently.

Sushi has been becoming expensive and hard to decide what to eat. The staff sometimes ignores you sitting there and waiting for you meal. The sushi here was good, but unfortunately I've actually had better sushi and also their price is reasonable. The place is good to come during dinner if you want a quick sushi bite.

Was a great place, amazing service, and 10/10 sushi. I recommend the aloha roll. Delicious!
