If I could, I would give this place a negative 10. The owner, the older asian lady is so racist with bad attitude and such a bad service!! She treated me, my husband and daughter so badly because my husband is black. This showed me I will never give her my money or business!! This business deserves to shut down!!!!

This is the best kept secret in South San Jose. The food is to die for here! The kalbi is a premium cut and you can taste it in every bite. They have the best raw marinated crabs I’ve ever had. They also have meat Jun which I rarely find in restaurants here in the bay.

And of course, the soups are on point with silky, melt in your mouth tofu and fresh seafood. I love this place and will take the family back again and again!

I came to SDGD Tofu House today and was quickly seated and served. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The tofu soup was delicious as always — comforting and flavorful. Definitely will be back!

The tofu soup here is unmatched—rich, flavorful, and always comforting. Every bowl feels like a warm hug, especially on a chilly day. The side dishes are fresh and generous, and the staff is incredibly kind and attentive. I always leave full, happy, and already planning my next visit. It's one of the best Korean spots in San Jose—authentic, cozy, and consistently delicious. Highly recommend

They forgot the meat and toppings in my tofu soup, so all I got for $20 was plain tofu and mushrooms which is already super pricey as is after raising the price.

Tofu house is our go to spot every time wife wants korean seafood pancake. The banchan’s are excellent and short ribs are to die for. Service is always prompt.

Friendliest service with great recommendations. My wife and I like really spicy food and they are different the the other SGD tofu as they have spicier options. So we went with level 10 and it was actually spicy! Lived it and will be back as it's close to home.

It’s my first time to eat Korean food in the United States~
The tofu hotpot here is quite delicious~
What’s special is that the seafood tofu pot here has oysters in it! You can eat it full of umami!
It’s not bad to order a pot and get a table full of side dishes~
but
Also, if you want to eat cheaper, there is a Korean bento for lunch!

When you make the final payment, you can pay separately, but don't ask the older female clerk, ask the male clerk who will be more polite! The service is also good!

PS: If you like my comments, you can follow them~
I will take photos of the appearance and color of the food I saw on site and present it to everyone. I will go to various places to discover delicious food and unique places! !
I wish everyone’s wishes come true!

The food here is VERY delicious. I had the bibimbap and stir fried udon. The bibimbap is fun to eat and delicious! For the stir fried udon, I ordered it "hot" (which is about in the middle of the spice scale), and it was quite spicy! I had to have tissues nearby. ? My friend warned me not to order above "hot" and I would agree with her unless you are VERY spice tolerant or want to clear out your sinuses. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. They gave us plenty of water to handle the spice. It's a very nice and peaceful place to eat as well. ?
