Shanghai Garden

It was my first time to eat Shanghainese vegetable rice. It didn’t have the bitter taste of Qingjiang cuisine, but had a little more crispiness of crispy rice. It was surprisingly delicious! The garlic paste of dry-roasted shrimps is very delicious, but not spicy at all! The only thing I might not like about the flavor of the pan-fried buns is that the skin is too thick. But overall it’s very good?

Dear customers, those who have been seeking for some genuine Shanghainese comfort food should come here. The food is bursting with flavor and the service is very good. I especially enjoyed the small soup buns, dong po pork, and fried pork buns as the tastes were on point and the bun doughs were soft and crispy respectively. Came here with my mom and my friends family. At first we were hesitant because the place looked small but the lady was so welcoming. When we got our food, we were so happy we decided to eat here. Everything was fresh and steaming. The food was authentic and delicious. Honestly haven’t had such good Chinese food in a while. One of the highlights of my trip to Cali!
