Came at 9:40pm on a Friday. I was told that they close at 9:30pm even though both their official site and Google says they open until 10pm. Employee was also pretty rude.

I used to like order takeout from Shilin. Yet, I had food poisoning after having Oyster mee shua yesterday. After one hour having Oyster mee shua, I started throwing up for the entire night.… that was too painful. I would never order food from here again.

The Chicken is delicious, the flavor is unlike any other place I've tried, and the crunch is phenomenal. You get a good amount of Chicken for $12. I recommend the mild spice XL chicken thigh ordered ahead through the app. You can get the less seasoning option if you're adverse to the strong flavor. We usually have leftovers, and they make great sandwiches.

I came here several times and satisfied with my order of popcorn chicken. The flavor was not super tasty but the price was quite affordable with a big portion. For some reason, the last time I visited the store, the chicken was dry and disappointing. Despite the reasonable price, I don't think I will come back here again.

Plum fries are super tasty, little sweet and salty made with sweet potatoes. Also got the extra spicy popcorn chicken but it wasn't spicy enough and we got the spiciest level. That's ok though. We also got another rice plate and two drinks and it was more than two of us could eat. Very tasty overall.

The combo meal is unbeatable for 18 bucks, a meal for 2, veggies, tofu, marinated egg, a whole chicken breast made fresh with a drink. Mostly self order kiosk. Place is usually quite clean. Damn good.

I have had a few mix ups with my order here but they always correct it. It can get a bit busy so expect maybe a 15 minute wait for your food.

Will definitely go back to get the Crispy mushrooms and plum fries again. Crispy mushrooms had the salty, slightly spicy, sweet flavor combination with the crispy on the outside of the batter and chewy mushroom inside texture. Plum fries had the dried plum powder lightly tangy flavor complementing the sweetness of the sweet potato. Minced pork with rice was also good with generous portion. Reasonably priced. Small space so better for to go orders but there's a coupon tables available if you must eat in.

Vegetarian options: Tofu, fries and mushroom selections are available for vegetarians.

Bad… Bad. Awful service. It took an hour to get My order ready. I ordered ahead of time because it was a large order. Nowhere near catering quantity, but enough for family of 3. Then lady staff says to order one day ahead so when I pick up on the day of, it will be fresh. Oh, the lady also said do not order for pickup through their website because it doesn’t go to the kitchen. Joke.

Just some facts here. At 19:03, we ordered the pick up (only 1 fried chicken) scheduled at 19:14. Then we came to the store at 19:20. Right now is 19:52, and we are still waiting for our order. Just hopeless.

Like others have said, this is the new ish shihlin spot. First time I’ve had it was at the valley fair mall. From what I can tell it tastes about the same 👍🏽.

I’ve only gotten the pop corn chicken and is still my go to. Chicken is very tasty and flavorful. One note is that the “spicy” isn’t that spicy at all. If you like spicy food, do the extra spicy but to me it’s still not spicy at all. The chicken is cooked through, It’s juicy but I wish it would be more crunchy/crispier. Other than that, value and quality is there. They give you soooo much chicken. I’ll always come back here if I’m feeling like popcorn chicken.
