SGD Tofu House is a good spot for comforting Korean food. Their soon tofu soup arrives bubbling hot and full of flavor, with silky tofu and just the right amount of spice. The banchan (side dishes) are fresh and varied—kimchi, cucumber kimchi, japchae, bean sprouts, and fish cakes—all delicious. I also loved that they serve raw eggs to crack into the soup, which makes it even richer and more satisfying.

Really tasty tofu soups, we got the beef and seafood combination. The bibimbap was also yummy.

Sides were fish cake, kimchi, glass noodles, kimchi bean sprouts and cucumbers

We’ve been visiting various locations of SGD tofu since the early 2000. They are always our go-to for tofu soup, one of my favorite comfort food. This location is as good as the others we’ve been to with the important bonus of having outside seatings. The seafood and beef tofu soup are better than the chicken one in our opinion. Make sure to order bibimbap with the traditional stone bowl or you’ll get an American version that don’t with a regular bowl that don’t make a crust. This is one of the few restaurant that’s not way too salty to our taste. I’ll keep coming back whenever I want a good tofu soup.

We arrived at 1:45 pm, and they say they are closed.
I asked what time you close? They said 2 pm!

Just experienced pure rude service from a lady w glasses on. Not so sure what happened to her but if you’re the business owner, I hope this business does not last long. If you’re a part timer, the business owner should reconsider hiring her.

The food is consistently good, my favorite is the seafood tofu. Service is ok, they’re nice when they interact with you. But they basically disappear after the food shows up. Great ambience and atmosphere

Nice cozy Korean place with a hearty hot tofu dishes on a cold nite. Had Korean beer to pair the food. A good authentic Korean food.

Frustrated with the service. No one helped and we needed to get menu ourselves. 20 minutes after ordering, we were told they forgot our order and asked to order again. Go to other SGD tofu and don’t waste your time here.

We were looking for another restaurant and came across this one. The place is small, but very comfortable and clean. Service was fast. They came and got our orders quickly and then brought us all of the goodies before and they are unlimited (six different sides). We ordered BBQ Beef and the short ribs. They were both large portions and hit the spot. The BBQ beef was excellent, and the broth was amazing. I asked for a second bowl of rice to enjoy the last of the broth. I will go back and try other things on the menu.

We dined here mainly for their tofu stew, however, everything here was so delicious!

Banchan (side dishes) was very generous. Tofu stew was piping hot and hearty. We also liked the spicy squid, bulgogi (bbq beef), and spicy rice cake. Unfortunately, they ran out of seafood pancake that night.

Terrible service, the staff is very rude and unprofessional. They talk to you as if you did something bad or owe them.

Won’t return to this restaurant again.

We ordered 3 soft tofu soups, but almost no meat in any soup, all we ate were tofu, one fresh egg and cheap squash! Paid $20 for each soup!

Asked for hot tea, waitress never came to refill our tea.
