Open late, amazing pizza. Tried Detroit style and loved it so much, made sure to stop by again for New York style. Both incredible flavor. Love the extra toppings they add on after, especially the ricotta cream!

The pizza was amazing, wish they had more sitting 😫 it was like a traffic jam.
People watching you eat because they want to sit down.

All Meat Calzone, is quite loaded with meat and cheese, dip in tomato and/or ranch on the side.

The dough is soft and chewy.

This is really gonna fill you up, if you're eating this solo.

The hot calzone made the cardboard pizza box underside a bit mushy. A surprise laid inside the pizza box with the pizza bib under the box lid. Great marketing.

You can find free 90min parking adjacent to San Pedro square, in the SJPark lot off Market.

I really hate to leave a review like this but here we go. We arrived on a Friday evening apparently after a dinner rush, no problem. We were told a Detroit takes about 35-45 minutes to make, no problem. We ordered two NY slices while we waited for the Detroit to cook. For an hour, I observed dozens of patrons get the red carpet treatment; fist bumps, extra sauce on the house, ‘one slice got a lil crispy, so we threw in an extra one for you.’ For an hour, I listened to the same spiel, ‘everything includes Parmesan, basil, garlic oil.’ I watched the crowd get larger, the space get louder, all the while no sight of our Detroit. The previous party that ordered a pie just before us got timely updates and some extra sauce before they departed. Finally, I inquired for an update, almost as if they couldn’t see us waiting at one of their two tables - they asked for a name. They proceeded to pull out a box from the warmer and tell us ‘it just came out of the oven a few minutes ago.’ Then why was the cheese congealed and the pizza cold when I opened the box as soon as I got to my car? I can look past a lot of things but as an industry professional myself, don’t lie to the guest. Certainly don’t illustrate that you go above and beyond if you’re going to pick and choose who you to do it for. I’m sad to say while I love the pizza, I am not going to make the effort to return. I let the first bad experience go but twice? Do better. #sliceofdisappointment

Slice of Homage is such a gem! The pizza here is absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and a crust that’s just the right mix of crispy and chewy. You can really taste the care that goes into every slice. The menu has something for everyone, whether you’re craving a classic or something a little more unique.
On top of the amazing food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. It’s the kind of spot where you can relax, enjoy great food, and know you’ll leave satisfied.
If you love pizza, Slice of Homage is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

Now some may argue that this review is inaccurate. However, please believe I base all my reviews on all past experiences with food and I’ve had a lot of good pizza. I heard so many raving reviews I may have had higher expectations, however this pizza was good, just not great in my opinion. It’s a small cozy spot and the slices are heated upon order. The Detroit everything and the classic were the options selected. Personally the classic was my favorite it was cute little pepperoni and a thin crust. The basil and other toppings came together well. I would surely order this again on a day that isn’t so crowded. Because the wait was rather long. As for the everything Detroit it just tasted like too much bread . There are a few other slices that looked amazing and it’s possible my selection was not the most popular.
The guy who took my order was very kind, there was an event happening so the line moved rather slow. I would come back to give it another try for sure. Especially for the thin slice .

This place cannot keep up with demand. Waited over 2 hours for a 14” pepperoni pizza on a Saturday night. Don’t call when they’re busy either they wont answer and their VM box stays full. Good pizza but not that good.

Didn't particularly love the detroit style pizza. They offer you new york and detroit style. A little bit too much crust for me. But that's how detroit pizza is made. Service is great just not my favorite.
