I love coming here for a slice of pizza, however tonight was the worst experience. They told us they were not making the pizza we wanted and then proceeded to bring that slice out after we order a whole pie. The picture of that pie is displayed and the presentation was deplorable. Additionally, they did not give the full fixens as requested. Whoever is on staff for Sunday nights needs some help because this is not the same group I am used to on other given days.

The pizza is some of the best that I've ever had!

The staff there were also incredibly kind.

My personal favorite is the Sicilian but the Detroit is also delicious!

Favorite pizza shop ever. 0 improvement required. My partner and I went in for 2 slices and ended up eating 4. We could have kept eating if we didn’t have to leave. It’s very light and delicious !

First timer out of the east bay and picked the highest rated spot and I see why. Very family friendly and great food. Flavor in every bite and makes you want more. Pizza made right, service made with love. Definitely going again!

I come here often for their lunch special. Every slice is made to absolute perfection with their fresh ricotta, freshly grated parmesan, and olive oil. My favorite is the Detroit vs. Everybody. Friendliest staff, too.

Carved out of the bar in back, this pizza place is a welcome addition to the area. Sure I could get a whole pizza for the price of a slice here but the slice is pretty darn good especially the way they “dress” it with cheese, basil and oil after it comes out of the oven. You can get a whole pizza or a slice and they have seating inside and out. Great for your walk to the Shark games!

I have to admit, I’m not even a pizza fan, but Slice of Homage has completely changed my perspective. The moment I took a bite, I fell in love. The crust is nothing short of amazing—perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. What really sets this place apart are the fresh ingredients. The combination of basil and extra cheese elevates the pizza to another level, making every bite a delight. It’s clear they prioritize quality, and it truly shines through.On top of that, the customer service is exceptional. LIZ goes above and beyond to ensure every visit is enjoyable. Her warm personality and dedication to making our experience memorable are unmatched. Slice of Homage has definitely won me over, and I can’t recommend it enough. Take my money; I’ll be back for more!!!!

I came in Sunday at around 6pm. We ordered a New York 14" pizza + a Calzone. We were initially estimated it would be done in about 25 minutes or so. Two fellas after us came in and ordered maybe about 5 minutes after we ordered (keep this in mind rest of the review). We are waiting, there are a lot of upset people hounding the one girl at the counter about their order. Me and my girlfriend were trying be polite because we work in customer service before and know how busy it can be. We check in again about 35 minutes after we placed order - we are told another 15 minutes. Then, I noticed the two guys that ordered after me and my girlfriend have walked in and received the orders. It has now been a hour and I was barely getting my order. We ordered a New York and both parties after us ordered Detroit there is no reason they should have got their order before us as the crust is thinner for our orders.

Overall, I felt bad for the girl at the counter because she was catching all of the negative emotions from all the customers. Your founder Steven B should really learn how to run a business smoothly. If you got that many upset customers in a day you should evaluate your staffing because you were obviously insanely understaffed on a weekend. You should give your customers honest estimates instead of giving everyone a default "10 more minute answers." You are just pissing people off more.

P.S. the food was not worth the wait and is mediocre at best. Will advise people I know not to waste their time here since it wasn't respected.
