“From the moment we stepped into La Catalana, we were transported to an authentic Spanish-Catalan experience. The atmosphere exudes warmth, passion, and attention to detail, making it the perfect place for a memorable evening. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish crafted with care and rich in flavor. The tapas were exquisite, and the hand-selected Spanish-Catalan wines perfectly complemented our meal. Rodrigo, our server, went above and beyond, providing exceptional recommendations and ensuring we had an incredible dining experience. His attentiveness and knowledge truly elevated our visit. A special highlight was meeting Monserrat, the owner, whose kindness and hospitality made us feel at home. Her love for the community and dedication to creating a welcoming space is evident in every aspect of La Catalana. We visited to celebrate friendship and an award received by one of our friends, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. As community leaders, we wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to everyone. La Catalana is more than a restaurant—it’s an experience filled with passion, culture, tradition, and heart. “Basque style tapas (pintxos) in a stylish little restaurant. What’s not to like? Stop in for a couple of small bites and a drink like a Spaniard would, or have dinner.“

“The food, as expected, was excellent. We were a party of 2 and ordered 2 appetizers, a paella, churros for dessert, and non-alcoholic drinks. Fortunately, we were seated in a small, but quiet room just off the main eating area, so the busy Saturday night noise didn't affect our ability to chat at the table. Service was stellar. One of the staff made sure all water glasses were full, checking regularly. We didn't have to wait unusually long for the food. There's a note on the menu that paellas will take 30-40 minutes and we found that to be accurate. We also found the menu pricing to be reasonable, meaning that what we ate was worth the money. Despite having a bit of a drive for us to get to the restaurant and find parking, we'll definitely consider dining at Teleferic Barcelona again when the crave hits. We were able to easily book a primetime Saturday night table in advance on Friday and would absolutely suggest doing likewise as there was a small crowd waiting for tables when we arrived.“
