Delicious food, fast and friendly service nice atmosphere with a huge outdoor terrace. It was lively and busy at Saturday lunch. Won't lie I had to look up what to do with the free bread, herbs, and raw onion appetizer but it was tasty.

I wanted to get some kebab so had not tried out this spot and visited with family. Parking is easy, it's right next to Applebee's and a hotel.
The internal space felt like it was stuck in time from the 1990's, a little rough around the edges. There were signs of age to the decor.
Surprisingly, it was not busy when we visited on a Saturday evening. This was on a night they do not have dancing and music, apparently for those nights there is a $65 cover charge.
For not being a busy evening the service was a little slow I thought, although the busboy/waiter who was bringing out the food was excellent.
The kebabs were very bland/lackluster, definitely not memorable for me, my wife liked her stew and some of the other items. Truthfully, I left feeling a little underwhelmed from the overall experience. Overall, I would rate this about 3.5 for me, especially since I really like Persian kebabs and I would not come back for those.

Even though we had ordered by phone 4 hours prior, we had to wait for so long in the resturant for them to prepare our food for pickup. Disappointed in service.

A warm, comforting spot with excellent hospitality, a cozy atmosphere, and some truly standout dishes.Parking is ample and hassle-free, making the visit easy. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by very welcoming hosts, and the nice, cozy interior instantly made us feel comfortable.

We ordered a well-rounded spread that had Kashke Bademjan (rich, smoky, and beautifully balanced), Dizi (2 orders) – absolutely amazing and top-notch comfort food; deeply flavorful, slow-cooked, and incredibly comforting, with tender meat and a broth that tasted like it had been developed over hours , Shallot Yogurt – light, tangy, and refreshing, Soltani Kebab Plates and Doogh (small).

The dizi was the clear star of the meal — authentic, hearty, and executed exceptionally well. The kashke bademjan was equally enjoyable and paired perfectly with the rest of the dishes.

The kebabs were good, but they could have been better, as we’ve definitely tasted better versions elsewhere. They didn’t quite reach the same level as the stews and appetizers.

A special shoutout to Gabriel, who served our table and did a fantastic job keeping up with our requests, checking in at the right moments, and ensuring everything flowed smoothly throughout the meal.

Overall, Stone Stew Grill & Bar offers great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and some truly excellent Persian comfort food. With a bit more refinement on the kebabs, this would easily be a standout favorite. Still highly recommended, especially and especially for the dizi.

The koobideh kabab was profoundly disappointing. It tasted stale and appeared to have been reheated. The tomato tasted the same with lack of freshness. Our visit, after a two-year absence, was unfortunately marked by a noticeable decline in quality, especially for a Sunday lunch service.

We had a very disappointing experience at Stone Stew 1 (Dizi Sang). We ordered Dizi Sangi, lamb shank with vegetable and fava bean rice, and Kashk Bademjoun. The Dizi Sangi had no taste and was absolutely flavorless. The plate of lamb shank was of low quality and it was cold when it was served. The Kashk Bademjoun was one of the worst appetizers I have ever experienced at a Persian restaurant. The overall food was way below expectations. I would highly recommend people who are in search of good-quality Persian restaurants not to visit here until and unless the kitchen improves this food quality to at least an above-average level.
