Walked in on a Saturday at 4pm. Tried to order. Man at the counter literally says no! I don’t think he speaks English…. So disappointed we couldn’t get a bahn mi. Will never go back again.

Great banh mi and other sandwiches at a good price. Makes me feel like I'm back in Southeast Asia.Only thing is that I wish there was a bit more of a clearer menu.

Not only you show the bad attitude, but you overcharged me one item guys! I've been visited San Jose many times but today was a first time I got bad experience about you, lady! I couldn't forget your face at least until now, I really hope your face go aways of my mind as soon as possible. Horrible. A nightmare!

The food is ok here. Most people come to buy gio tra. It is a food to-go place.

Really good banh mi. It gets busy during peak times. I always buy the combination #1 banh mi. We ordered banh mis for our wedding day lunch. Totally hit the spot and helped me to drink more lol

Best banh mi in the bay area for good price. I think its $7-8 for a banh mi. It is cash only, so they don't have a credit card machine. You can also get other items at their store, such as desserts and bread.

Cheap eat across from PhonKim Long in the same plaza. A Vietnamese store selling premade meat, sandwiches, rice noodle roll and desserts. It's a grab and go shop, no place to sit. Some of the food seemed hot made as they were still hot on the shelf, such as the banh gio. Price is very reasonable. I got a plate of rice roll for $6.50. The only downside is that they take cash only.

Come early if you want a better selection of the pre-made foods. The make the best Bánh mì here. You can order the special ask for the veggies on the side if you’re not planning to eat right away. Take it home and heat up and add the veggies when you’re ready to eat!

Slow service, 1 cashier, decor looks rundown, and the ice coffee isn't the same as the other locations.

Best banh mi in the bay, if not the nation! Whatever banh mi you get, always ask for their garlic bread My go to is the #2 which is the classic Vietnamese cold cut with pate. Their bread is crunchy but yet soft and it doesn't hurt the roof of my mouth. A must stop whenever I'm in sj.

Iconic cheap vietnamese sandwich shop. Multiple locations. No where to sit at this location. This location is the cheapest and most run down. The entrance has a car which smashed into it which still is damaged. Crunchy ham from tendons, not the standard mostly muscle meat ham. SW has cucumbers, cilantro, pickled sweet daikon carrot, cheese. Eat one for 3.50 and order more if still hungry. Fresh baked bread. Number of items less now post pndemic. No english menu. Mostly vietnamese speaking customers. The large size bahn mi for 7$ is larger than any sw from subway or togos. This is the last place I know in the south bay with a 3.5 sw. Focus is on cheap. Most customers on food stamps and they can't afford a 10$ sw.

My favorite Vietnamese sandwiches. This location is not like the other on story road. This one is limited with sandwich options and does not serve the garlic bread but the food is still great!Parking here and be a mess so be patient. The parking spots are a little tight too.Service is quick and friendly here. The staff are all super nice! It is a busy story so make sure you know what you want to order but also don't forget to browse the prepared foods along the counters! The sandwiches are made to order and are always great! I always get the đặc biệt and am always satisfied. The break is always crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

This is where we go for chả when we don’t need sandwiches. The sandwiches seem to be better at McKee. Here, I can get the banh gio, cha, and banh uot or banh beo.
