So sad to drive by and see the for sale sign. Will the business be moving to another location?

Amazing food and the owner and her family are so very nice!Muhammara manakeesh is so delicious! Zaatar manakeesh amazing! The pies and falafels... delicious! Prepared food in the fridge is yummy also. I have called a couple times before they close to say I'm on my way.. will I make it? She always! says I will wait for you and she is open when I arrive. One of my favorite spots to visit for good food prepared by a lovely family.

I had the stuff falafel sandwich, extra zaatar pie bread, and the sfeeha pie bread. All of them are made with fresh ingredients and are delicious.

Wow! Amazing! Best baklava I've ever had. Picked up an assortment for Christmas and everyone that I gave it to remarked on what a wonderful thing it was. Can't believe I've lived here all my life and just found out about this place A+++++

The food is good, but service is the worst out of any place I’ve been to and here is why:- you walk in a no one at the register and I have to stand there for 5-10 minutes for someone to show up.- Food availability is not consistent regardless to time or day. 90% of the time they have nothing to offer.- If I ask for a sandwich or something, I’ll always get the answer “but we will have to make it for you”. I thought that’s how any food place would operate. It takes forever to prepare something and sometimes they would get the wrong order.- staff is not experienced and I had to pay for things I didn’t purchase multiple times.Again, love the food and love to support a Palestinian cafe, but I don’t know if I’m missing the concept of this spot or something. They don’t seem to care about walkins and maybe catering is their main thing? I hope they can fix their service.

One of the best baklava I had in the bay area. Not dry like the ones you would find in regular stores, this was soft and sweet. The pistachio ones were sweet for my liking, loved the walnut and dates baklava. The cookie roll kinda thing stuffed with dates was also awesome. The zaathar was awesome,my wife said it was the closest to the ones shed had growing up in the middle east . The beef pie was mediocre. Super helpful staff clarifying questions and helping you choose. They also carry fresh hummus, babaganoush etc. Looks like they also make bulk orders for events, enquire at the counter.

I had my eye on this place for ages, based on the race reviews and high ratings. They tend to close fairly early, so I didn't get the chance to make it in.I was finally able to make it out to this place... They were also out of a few thing when I got here, not a good start...Baked goods:~ Zaatar & Cheese Pie - 3.5/5I'm not sure what a Zaatar is... but this pie is like a thin pizza flavored with herbs. I thought I tasted a Oregano and Thyme a fair bit.~ Chicken Pie - 3/5It just OK for me. Difinitely edible, but nothing special or outstanding about the "pie. " It's also small. At $4.75 for a tiny pie that's just OK, I'll pass on it the next time. I'm curious about the Beef version.~ Potato Pie - 3/5This was also OK. Nothing special, I added hot sauce to it when I ate it.I'm not sure what the high ratings and rave reviews are about, perhaps I picked up the wrong items. I wouldn't make an effort to come here again, I'd stop by if it was convenient.

Little bakery tucked away next to the train tracks. I usually am carb addicted to the Zatar bread from Aladdin market in San Mateo so Yelp led me to this place. Got the Zatar bread (cold oily and the olive oil tasted rancid which made the whole thing inedible) and a beef pastry. The carb wrapper was good but the beef was dry, crumbly, unseasoned. Very underwhelming place.

This review is for their Togo food order, only. The food selection reviewed is limited to the Zaatar flat bread, chicken dumpling, potato dumpling, and the Baklava. Everything Togo is served cold. It's best advised that you reheat or warm whatever you get Togo, it's just much more palatable that way. Their chicken dumpling was super dry. I'd skip that one. Even warmed up, it was super dry. Their potato dumpling was good. Good flavor, good seasoning, well made. I enjoyed it. The zaatar flat bread was nice. Different from pizza and the western flat breads many Americans may be accustomed to. The zaatar has a unique blend of herbs and spices and makes this a unique dish. The baklava was good. Solid. Extremely well made, not overly sweet, not overly greasy... it was good. I would visit this place again just for their baklava.

Possible my favorite bakery in the region. I think their baklava is the best in the area. I feel like it is not the same Al the time, but I see that as a sign of a unique local shop :)

Sultan Bakery is an unpretentious spot that focuses on middle eastern delicacies such as freshly made pita, falafel, kibbeh (fried bulgar wheat stuffed with meat), meat pies and sweet pastries. I ordered the meat pie and the falafel sandwich. The falafel sandwich was very filling. It also reminded me of authentic falafel and shawarma sandwiches i have had in Midwest towns with dense Lebanese and Arab populations. Mainly, the inclusion of turnips and pickles are a must for me! (I used to work at an amazing Lebanese restaurant years ago, so I can't help not being a harsh critic with this type of food). Oh yeah, this sandwich also had unpitted green olives in them, so please don't lose a tooth! Lol. Chew with care! The baklava was also pretty good.

Their quality has gone down questionably! Earlier we used to love everything from their bakery but off recently neither are their food tasting fresh or clean. In our recent visit we ordered the egg pizza and it had hair it. It was so gross we couldn't eat anything at all from out to go. Attaching pictures and video for proof. Sultan bakery, If you're reading this please pay more attention to your food quality. We used to love your food couple of years ago
