I don't normally write reviews, but I had to on this one. My co-worker and I decided to have lunch and picked this place. I ordered the pork with macaroni salad and rice. The pork tasted awful as if it's been cooked for a few days out in the open air. The macaroni salad tastes bad. Bad that it wasn't properly refrigerated. I do not recommend this place at all. People beware!!

Amazing food, great service, every time I go it’s so tasty and I feel like I’m paying for a great experience of Hawaiian BBQ. It don’t matter what the occasion is, you have to try this gem hidden in San Jose ASAP.

Your gonna pay around $20 for 1 dish, but it IS tasty and you get a lot of food. My favorite is the beef ribs. Smokey and big. I wish i had a dog so i could let them eat the bones. Friendly staff.

3.5 Stars.I came here on a Wednesday at 6PM. At the time, there were about 7 people in the store and a few tables. Most of the tables were in use, but that's okay since I only get to-go orders here. I got my order pretty quick, about 10 minutes from the time I ordered. I appreciate the fast service.-PARKING-There is limited parking in the front of the store. I park on the street where there's few spots available. There is a decent-sized parking lot in the back of the building, not sure if customers are allowed to park there though. It says it's for "private parking".-FOOD-I do enjoy their grilled chicken plate. It's the only thing I order when I'm in the area. Most of the time, I don't have a problem with their grilled chicken. Sometimes, I get burnt inedible bits in my meal. This time I got some of those burnt bits in my meal and I had to spit them out and throw them away.I like their macaroni because it doesn't have a fishy or tuna flavor like some popular Hawaiian chains do. Their mac tastes pretty mild, but I personally don't mind that. I've also ordered their Kalbi twice and it was just okay, it didn't stand out to me.

That Kalbi was disgusting!! I bit into pure stringy, tough fat so bad that you could not chew it and the strings of fat or cartlidge or whatever that crap was stuck between my teeth!!!! The worst kalbi or shortribs I have ever had, I almost choked on the meat tryin' to swallow it!! The rest of their food is good.

BBQ Chicken Plate was raw I am going to cry since my food poisoning is imminent Please save yourselves
My husband and I have been on a road trip vacation for the past few days and have been eating small things on the road. It was our first time here in San Jose and we were originally going to go elsewhere to get Pho but came across the good reviews from this place. We were immediately greeted by the friendly gentleman at the front. He recommended the short rib plate, which my husband got, and I got the beef and chicken mini plate. All I have to say is, WOW. The meat was soooo JUICY and tender. It practically melted in your mouth. The pasta salad is sooo flavorful and the chicken was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be coming back here before our drive back to SD!

Always check your order before leaving. Today 4/25 this place owes me 2 scoops of macaroni. I'm so pissed I drove through traffic to get home and find out my order isn't right. Can't even eat cause I'm so pissed
