Best sake selection around, sushi and sashimi is really good quality. This is a value spot tucked away and a bit of a secret spot, happy to find it.

We love that Sushi Masa has a happy hour menu now! We’ve tried all of the rolls and our favorites are the spicy yellowtail, the double crunchy and the tempura shrimp. The spring roll and edamame are also favorites as well.Lily has been our server/bartender for several of our visits and she is the best! The restaurant has an all you can eat lunch or dinner special, but this happy hour menu provides us with just the right amount of food.

Sushi masa has been a stable of my usually go to Japanese restaurant near home. I love their menu with cold and hot food and really has been one of the better sushi I have. Their service is always friendly and the decor is japanese style.

Pros: The food really tasty!Cons: Teenie tiny food portions, servers are not attentive! After spending over $40 for entrée, I am hungry! Desserts were unevenly portioned big and small ice cream that was explained to us, small ones come with the meal hence they are small portions and the bigger portions are the ones we paid which costs $4/each (must have costs no more than 40¢ and paid their server maybe $1 to put it into little bowls, which they should really consider if it is worth it to make their customers feel Sushi Masa is stingy portions restaurant but not that great)!

Stopped by on a Wednesday evening craving nigiri. The restaurant was not busy at all and we were seated immediately. Decided to splurge on a bottle of sake and the Trust Chef nigiri. The fish was fresh and I especially enjoyed the uni and otoro. We also ordered the Tonkatsu. My husband enjoyed the marinated bean sprouts that came on the side. Overall we had an enjoyable experience and we will add this place to our list of go-to sushi restaurants!

My first visit here and I fell in love! Look at the quality of fish in my photo: thick juicy pieces of fish are beautifully presented, so flavorful, buttery and melt in your mouth tender. Spider rolls tend to be very thick but the chef suggested he can roll them smaller so they are easier to eat. What a brilliant idea! Unagi sauce on top was not sticky or too sweet. Just The spicy sauces on side were delicious too. Miso soup and salad that come with the dinner were also high quality. Cold sake was kept cool in an whimsical bucket and our beer was so refreshing, served in cooled glasses. The staff was very attentive, sushi chefs were friendly and delightful, the ambiance was very traditional. I'll be bringing my friends, family and coworkers.

My party of 3 came to Sushi Masa around 12:30pm on a Thursday since it was close by. There were three other tables at the time, and we were quickly seated and given menus. The atmosphere is super nice, dimly lit with an area with floor seating and a separate area with tables and chairs, with nice decorations throughout. The menu is pretty extensive, so we took a while to look through it before deciding on what to order. The service was excellent and we were frequently checked on and dishes came out quickly. -deluxe chirashi sushi ($35.99): this was just what I wanted, and came with a good selection of sashimi over rice, along with some seaweed salad, shredded radish, a shiso leaf, lemon slice, and miso soup on the side. The fish was super fresh and filling. -cherry blossom ($17.95): this was pretty good but nothing amazing, and the fish had a slightly sticky texture, but the sauce paired really nicely with the roll. -mango bridge ($18.95): this was nice and had sweetness from the mango that was really nice with the salmon. -2 item lunch combo ($17.99): we got shrimp tempura and tonkatsu, and it comes with rice, salad and miso soup. This was a gerat deal and super filling. I was surprised that the salad came with thousand island dressing instead of a soy or sesame salad dressing that I'm more used to. The shrimp tempura was perfectly flight and crispy without being oily. Overall, Sushi Masa had great quality fish in the chirashi, pretty solid rolls and a great value lunch combo. If you're craving sushi, I'd say this is likely the best option in the area!
