I recently dined at sushi pro. The omakase set has good presentation, but not as fresh as I had hoped for.The Omakase menu included Chawanmushi, but unfortunately, the service didn't remind us, so we ended up ordering one extra.Overall, while the food was decent, I felt there were areas where the restaurant could improve, especially in terms of freshness.

We went on Valentine's Day, not the perfect day because there a lot of couples ahead of us but we're able to secure a table, so that's a good thing. The atmosphere and food was absolutely a steal compare so other fancy sushi place. I loved the Philadelphia Roll and the wife liked the avocado roll. Sushi Roll was to go for quality with a budget in mind.

Really good! Be prepared to scan the menu on your phone. Excellent sushi. The "stairs" looks interesting. Next time we'll try that. The waiter didn't check on us as much but it was still a place to check out! ?

Went there for lunch .Lunch special is the best deal . We ordered Tonkatsu set and Gyu don set .Honestly, my Gyu don just ok , felt probably come from pack , you can find it in Japanese supermarket for $4.00 . Chawamushi ( steamed egg ) is not soft and warm .For $14.50 , you got don / salad / miso soup and steamed eggs .Friend ordered Tonkatsu was good .Single ordered Sake belly Aburi , sushi rice is good , fish is not that oily as belly part but great .Will come back try sushi next time .

I dunno about Sushi Pro, but it was pretty Sushi Good. I'd be back. Came here with the Dame after a lovely afternoon on the beach and getting a bit of the Vitamin... DEEEEE!!! I could have written Vitamin Sea, but ya know... No. Musta been a Saturday, but could have been an any day, Hard to tell these days, as we get older, time just seems to be speeding up rapidly and oh em freaking Buddha where is the stop buddon!? I need to learn to be more present in the moment. Probably start meditating a lot more... Or taking Magic Mushrooms. B-) Sometimes we just need a little helping hand to transcend all Space and Time.

My son and I popped in for lunch to Sushi Pro. We were seated right away and the server brought out ice water. You have to use the QR code to place the order. It took us a while to pick out what we wanted to eat because we were really hungry and also because we had to go back and forth through the tabs. I do prefer printed menus when all of the items are staring at you. However, I did appreciate a few discounts under the chef's special. We ordered a miso soup, a mixed tempura, a couple of rolls and an order of salmon nigiri. My favorite item was the tempura. The tempura batter was very light and crisp. The oil tasted fresh. The rolls were on the sweet side and very creamy. If you like lots of Mayo and sauce, you'll like it a lot. Overall, good prices and quick service. Nothing particularly memorable but a nice meal all the same.

A great lunch spot. There are a lot of tables and service was really quick. You order on your phone. I got a salmon roll and my bf got a katsu bento box. Both were good.

Sushi rolls were subpar. The sushi rolls have alot of rice and little fish. We also walked by the kitchen and the fish did not look fresh. I tried their nigiri before as well and it was really bland. I would not recommend. We also had a funny feeling in our stomach after the meal too..

Came in on a Wednesday night and didn't wait very long to get seated. The place was smaller than expected but still very nice. I got the dragon roll (3.5/5) which was all right. You don't get much avocado on top which is a bit disappointing and I feel like I've had better unagi in other places. Overall not bad, but I'm basic and really only judge a place based on their dragon roll and teriyaki chicken lol. This place seems to be a hit though and the service is good so I say just try it. Maybe just don't get the dragon roll.

Sushi here was pretty great! I thought that the prices for the rolls were very good. For the quality that was served, I think this is a great steal! The yellowtail roll is was delicious, but the Toro Lover roll was my favorite overall. The nigiri special included steamed egg and miso soup, which is something that complemented the meal perfectly.

I stumbled upon Sushi Pro while running errands in the area. It had solid ratings that really intrigued me so I decided to grab a quick lunch to go. They don't offer a physical menu, you can only browse through their iPad by the register. I ordered their pork tonkatsu lunch bento with gyoza (about $17 before tip). The waitress was really nice and offered me water and tea while I waited for my bento. My order was ready fairly quickly and even though I wasn't able to eat it right away, it was still hot about 15 minutes later. My bento came with a side salad and miso soup. I was thoroughly impressed with the light crunchiness and juiciness of the tonkatsu, probably one of the best I've had in a very long time. I also really liked the pink dressing that the side salad came with and wished the entire portion was larger so I could've kept eating. I'd definitely go back and reorder the tonkatsu with a sushi roll or two to try. Very happy I stopped by and will be back again soon.

The newest sushi place in the plaza. 2nd time here and I'll admit this is the best sushi spot in the area. I've tried ones around the area but I prefer this over others. It's not the biggest sushi restaurant but it's enough for me. The rolls were cheap around $13 and the bento was good too. I could do without the beef bowl, it just wasn't for me but sliced beef was tender. The service was extremely fast because they're right behind the counter so they can tend to everyone within the room. This use to be a Vietnamese restaurant so there's little hints here and there of the previous decor but modern non the less. Lunch time it got really packed so coming in big groups of more than 4 can take longer to get seated.

Solid spot. Super enjoyable. I enjoyed the ingredients utilized in their roll options. It is to my liking. For the Sushi Pro roll, I said no sriracha. Overall, super good flavors. The texture of the sushi was great. It felt meaty and great. Was not mushy or old-like. Some places have terrible texture and the sushi would feel mediocre. This place has great texture, flavors, and presentation. The arrangement of the sushi here is very presentable and beautiful. The sweet shrimp nigiri was really good. I enjoyed the fried shrimp heads as well. The California roll is simple but a classic. Will definitely come back here.

There's a very good sushi place in Santa Clara called "Sushi O'Sushi" that the wife and I visited frequently when we lived there. When we moved to San Jose, we always missed being so close to a good sushi place. So when Sushi Pro opened up, we were pretty excited to try it, but were skeptical that it could match Sushi O'Sushi. As soon as we bit into our first roll, our eyes lit up because we knew that we just found THE sushi place for us. Sushi Pro's rolls are very fresh, light, and tasty. Everything we have tried here is excellent. Their menu has a great selection, from raw oysters to perfectly seasoned seaweed salad. Their simple rolls are simply delicious and their special rolls are NOT over-sauced like a lot of sushi places. This place is high quality sushi that is well-balanced and will not break your wallet. Some of our favorite dishes and rolls are the raw oysters, the 49er's Roll, the JB Roll, Warriors Roll, and Dragon Roll. If the food isn't enough reason, let me tell you about the owner and service. The owner is so kind and thoughtful. Even before we became regulars, she recognized us and would always give us the same table. When she found out I had some jaw surgery that required I be on a soft food diet, she gave me a serving of steamed egg on the house, so that I didn't have to watch the rest of my family eat yummy sushi with just a protein shake! Service has always been good, with attentive staff that refill your waters/teas regularly and gets you your check in a timely fashion. You won't go wrong eating at Sushi Pro - they really are professionals at making delicious sushi, and the wife and I don't even consider driving all the way to Sushi O'Sushi anymore.

Came in for a simple dinner date to try out the Omakasé and I must say it was really good. The servers were helpful in introducing the different types fish on the dish and made sure to check in frequently.
