The owner welcomes you and is pushy about the drinks. The pricing was not transparent (drink w/boba was $15.45)! Reflected in other reviews below as well; be careful!
You guys, My name is Drew, and next to me is Ling, and i gotta tell you Drew Ling Matcha saved our marriage
Decent ice cream open late at night, but the owner is super pushy. He tried to force us to get a drink when we just came there for ice cream. He said he makes 90% of his sales from drinks. If you can’t make a profit on ice cream then don’t name your place sweet gelato and claim to sell it. Don’t go if pushy salesmen piss you off
Sweet Gelato’s new matcha drinks are visually appealing, creative, and generally well-balanced when made right. The matcha flavor is smooth and earthy, pairing nicely with their cream toppings and chewy boba. However, consistency varies some drinks can be too sweet or watered down, and presentation sometimes differs from photos. Overall, a solid place to try if you enjoy fun, customizable boba drinks with good texture and presentation. If you don’t know what to order Tony will always recommend the perfect drink or make it for you from scratch.
Pros:
Tony is funny.
The dog is so cute.
The taste of boba is excellent.
Ingredients are of good quality.
Cons:
Price is on the high end
Not transparent on price for the drinks. Felt like ended up paying more
(there is also no ice cream when we went @midnight)
3.5/5 - tastes good, should be transparent on price.
Terrible. The coffee and gelatos’ are pretty average as compared to the steep price. We got charged $25 for a simple blended coffee which was “recommended” by the owner. Also, the gelato was labeled “exotic” and the price that was charged didn’t match what was listed in the menu, neither did the quantity. Don’t recommend at all.
Such a wonderful variety of teas, coffees, and smoothies! The dessert options are all lovely as well with the cheesecakes tasting rich without being overly sweet. The venue doesn't have loud music and it is easily accessible by wheelchair.
My wife and I were looking for a boba place late night and came across this place. It was a 45min drive from where we were but I said screw it and decided to take the trip there. When we got there we were greeted by Tony the owner. He asked if it was our first time to his establishment and it was so he took us under his wing and made us feel extremely welcomed. He's quite a character and is very proud of his product and it shows. I ordered Plan B which is a tiramisu and coffee blended drink and my wife got Hoe (hang over everyday) which is lychee and melon fruity tea with bursting boba. Both were very flavorful and very high quality. The whole time he was extremely friendly and entertaining. He explained some of the history behind the names of some of his drinks and was exuding his passion in doing so. We also purchase the apple and Oreo cheesecakes, tiramisu, and creme brulee. We will definitely be returning because Sweet Gelato Tea Lounge is WORTH it!
Me and my girlfriend have been coming to Tony’s Sweet Gelato every single week, and it has quickly become our favorite spot. The gelato is always fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. We always order the Thai Tea. It’s our go-to and the owner already knows our regular order, which makes us feel so welcomed every time we walk in.
Really some pretty bad matcha for 12 dollars but the owner was very nice and probably the best salesman I’ve ever met in my whole life so I’ll give 2 stars cuz I respect game

Do not eat here. Owner is deceptive about pricing and sizing of the food you buy. He immediately asked our group if it was our first time and then encouraged us to try new foods without telling us the price or how big. Ended paying 60 dollars for 2 small scoops of ice cream, two mini cheesecakes (size of a golf ball), and one drink which he added extra boba and coffee without denoting it was extra.
Also important to mention that this restaurant relies on other restaurants closing earlier in the day so that all competition gets funneled to the store and comparative pricing cannot occur. This is a SCAM that is very well done, but take your money elsewhere.
I feel they give price randomly. If you go here, they will urge you to order, give you options. Once you hurry to pick a drink at random, they will quickly make it for you and tell you it's $14. But sometimes a cup of milk tea can cost $17, depending on their whim.
Tony is the man!! I always request a specific drink and it has been nothing short of great! 5/5 no questions! You’re the man Tony!!
Tony is the man 🙌🏻
