Kid-friendliness: Good food fast and great service ? Parking: Plenty of parking

You will be missed so much as you were the only Mexican Restaurant I went to for the last 10 years. The others downtown just don't compare. Your whole family was so nice. The food was so good too! Your being gone was a complete shock to me!

Five stars for the friendliest burrito joint I've ever been to. Zero stars for their greedy shitty landlord that, in their infinite wisdom, didn't think there were enough vacancies downtown. You will be missed Don Pedro.

They are back for lunch. Today I had a great chicken taco. Great flavor. And the salsa is spot on. Tastes soo good and damn spicy.

I had an unfortunate experience of food illness after eating dinner at the restaurant. The location was small, we sat inside. Staff was nice. I ordered the combo plate of ground beef enchilada and pork tamale with rice and beans. I forgot to take a photo because I was hungry but everything looked good and how my usual plates look from similar restaurants. The rice and beans were the best thing on the plate. The enchilada unfortunately only had a good sauce. The meat was too oily and I didn't recognize the sauce in the meat. The tamale is what I think really made me sick. The masa seemed dried out like maybe the tamale came from a freezer and was reheated? The meat is what didn't seem right ; it was kinda green/grey but I thought it could have been Chile verde style. But after eating 1/3 of it I couldn't eat anymore. I left feeling sick and disappointed in the experience. We had 6 others with us when we ate and I was the only one sick. Their food was average. I don't think I will be back.

Ample seating and receptive customer service! Lot less of a wait than more popular places like La Victoria, and for better quality food at a better price. What's not to love?

Super authentic and delicious! Their salsa is so good, and spicy! They also have a great outdoor dining space and are very COVID safe

We came here around 10pm and our friends already got a table outdoors for us. I got to try the al pastor and carne asada tacos. They were decent. The chavela was good. It was served in a big goblet glass. Not sure if there was indoor seating since I didn't get to go indoors. Gotta come try their other drinks next time.

Ordered carne asada plate to go. Everything was quite good. Meat was tasty, and even the beans, rice, and guacamole were better than average. Don't let this place get you fooled, it's a small hole in wall restaurant hidden in a side street playing loud music, but the food is really good. Excited to go back and try some other dishes.

The truck I ordered from at this location is named Sonora. I have went multiple times but each visit got worse. First the chicken was too hard, my limes were dried out, the Chile that's grilled was smashed and cold it wasn't even spicy so I know from the looks and taste it was not fresh. I asked for chips and got a small portion in a brown paper bag. Salsa is not consistent it went from red and spicy to orange and tasteless. Also I tried the Jamaica and it taste like water. Not returning again.

The first time I came to eat here I ordered a torta. IDK what it was about that day (maybe the meat was no good) but I didn't really like the taste of it. However, because it is so close to my job (and the owners are so nice), I decided to try it again. This time I got a carne asada, which was BOMB. Ever since then, I come here a lot and yes, I always get the carne asada. Although my coworkers really like the tacos and the shrimp. thumbs up!

Fire a** chili verde. 10/10 recommend. Everything is yummy but that's my favorite. Super sweet folks that work there too. Go support them so they stay open.

Stopped in for food after some drinks. They share an outdoor dining area with Mac's next door. So you can get drinks from Mac's and food from Don Pedro's. I think you have to go into to order and pay but they will bring out the food to you when it's ready. And food is ready pretty quickly. They do take credit cards (Mac's is cash only). I got an al pastor quesadilla. My friend got other types of quesadillas and enchiladas. It was piping hot and hit the spot after some drinks. At first I thought they mixed up my protein because it didn't taste like al pastor but my friends tried and said it was. It tasted a little like chicken - at least texture wise. It's ok in that aspect. So maybe don't keep your hopes high. Cost isn't too bad either. Also used their restroom, which was delightfully clean and nice. Nice spot to go for some food after drinks.

Food here is really good. They char their carne asada which is full of flavor. I come here for the burritos and nachos. If you're expecting some fancy environment, lower them. It's a truck in a gas station in the east side.....which I love haha.
