The he food - queso Birria with consome - was amazing. This is really more of a take out place, Less of a sit down place. Very popular and busy, so wait can be in the longer side.

The food is incredible. I searched so many places to find a solid California Burrito and was always disappointed with dry meat and dry tortillas. I am so happy I found this place because the food is on point and the price is very good as well. Also, chilaquiles burrito. Yes! I said CHILAQUILES BURRITO. So freakin' bomb. Absolute hidden gem that I can't live without. Only wish they had longer hours for those late night cravings.

Definitely a good option for what's around the South Bay.
Otdered the El Jefe and the Jefecito with everything.... was pretty 👍 good.

Big portions (pictures provided). They don't skimp on the meat either so that's a plus ➕!

Tacos 🌮 were also good. Wasn't in love but hard to come by when so many Mexican restaurants and taquerias are located in the bay area.
Carnitas 🍖 meat was a way go-to!!!!

Service was exceptional, had no issues with ordering and was greeted with a friendly face 😀

Love that they serve beer🍻 here and enjoyed the horchata 🥛

Will try the burrito 🌯 next time.

Tacos El Compa: A San Jose Must-Try!

My go-to order is the carne asada taco plate paired with their refreshing strawberry agua fresca. The taco plate comes with rice and beans as well. This combo is the perfect balance of satisfying and delicious, making it my ideal lunch. for a satisfying and tasty meal. This meal always hits the spot and gives me the energy to power through the rest of my day. Highly recommend!

Awesome tacos at an awesome price! I'm a big guy, and the El Jefe taco fills me up. I always stick to the carnitas and have not been disappointed. Their horchata is also really great. It is heavy on the cinnamon, though.

Honestly, the service was terrible. I came in after seeing the place advertised all over my Instagram. I ordered three tacos: carnitas, al pastor, and asada. The asada and carnitas tacos were pretty good, but the al pastor taco tasted nothing like it should. The meat didn't smell right and didn't taste like al pastor. I told the cashier, thinking they might have given me the wrong meat. She took my plate and talked to the crew. They didn't realize I spoke Spanish and said, "There's nothing we can do, that's al pastor, and some people just have different preferences." She came back and told me, "There's nothing we can do." Honestly, that’s some terrible service. I asked if I could choose a different type of meat because this one smelled bad and didn't taste good. She said proceeded on saying the same thing “there’s nothing we can do”.

Ordered the famous hot Cheetos tacos but they weren’t giving hot Cheetos. They tasted like a regular taco, the red salad was the star of the night. To top it off it was only 7 tacos for 55 bucks.

Parking: Big lot and free parking and restrooms on the side of the building.

Kid-friendliness: Kind and knowledgeable.
