After running errands all Saturday morning, I wanted to sit down and enjoy a nice lunch. We stopped in Taiwan and it was fabulous. As soon as we walked in we were seated and service was amazing. Lunch was not pricey and it included, soup, salad entree and tons of rice. I even got to take some home. Before we even decided on our entree, waitress asked what type of soup we wanted, Service was great and food was hot and enjoyable. I was surprised to not see the big elaborate flower decor, but understandable. Very clean and organized. Highly recommend.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants for almost twenty years. I still haven't found potstickers that even compare. I've never had a bad dish. Everything is not only delectable but it's also beautifully presented. Honey walnut chicken!!! Get it!!

Nestled in the heart of Willow Glen (San Jose), Taiwan Restaurant offers an unparalleled dining experience. It is definitely a culinary gem that stands out for its exceptional Chinese cuisine, charming ambiance, and impeccable service. Whether you're a seasoned food enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Taiwan Restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations and leave you craving for more.As a fan of fine dining, I had the pleasure of indulging in their delectable array of dishes, each meticulously crafted to perfection. From the moment I took my first bite of the garlic eggplant over noodle, I was enchanted by the freshness of the ingredients and the harmonious blend of savory and aromatic spices. Another highlight of my dining experience was the pan-fried belt fish, a dish that exemplifies the Restaurant's commitment to using only the finest quality ingredients. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a delicate crispiness on the outside giving way to succulent and tender flesh inside. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, showcasing the restaurant's dedication to delivering excellence in every aspect of their cuisine.Beyond the culinary delights, Taiwan Restaurant also offers a welcoming and inviting ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience. The decor, adorned with traditional Chinese paintings and art, creates an atmosphere of elegance and refinement, providing the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable meal. Moreover, the impeccable service provided by the waitstaff further enhances the dining experience. The waiters and waitresses are not only attentive and efficient but also exude warmth and hospitality, making diners feel right at home from the moment they step through the door.

I used to work across the street from the Taiwan Restaurant in Willow Glen and my co-workers and I would stop in for lunch once in a while. Always tasty and a great value. I would recommend lunch over dinner and very whole-heartedly as the special luncheon selections are abundant and very great value. I tried the dinner menu at one point but it did not seem as appealing and as great a value as the luncheons.

Best pineapple fried rice I've ever had in my life. I also really liked the chow mein and the orange chicken. Lee had a spicy beef that was really yummy too. I want to come back to try the sweet and sour pork and wonton soup. Our server was amazing too. Great vibes at this place.

I've been going to Taiwan since they opened. The food used to be fantastic. They must have changed owners because the food is just ok now. The dressing on the chicken salad is still very good. I had the beef broccoli in garlic sauce and it was ok but nowhere as good as in years past. Still it's probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.

Good food, but they use tortillas instead of Chinese pancakes for their mu shu dishes.

We went there this noon, we waited for 5 minutes before somebody came out from the back to take us to a table. Then we waited for another 10 minutes before soemone came to take our order. Then we waited 15 minutes to get the food. ordered two items, one was wrong, shrimp became pork. The soup was too salty, the worse were two dishes. We told the waitress, she said why you didn't tell us you wanted light salt. We said that we go to other restaurents all the time, never need to tell them anything, but getting normal salt dishes. We won't go back there because of the poor service, bad food, and bad altitude.

Wow! I genuinely don’t know if I’ve had better Chinese food. There were so many moments where I was like, “oh this is how it’s supposed to taste like?” It was divine. Best cooked meat. Best spices. Cooked to perfection!Dietary restrictions: We had someone with gluten restrictions in our party and there was plenty she could eat when they made it gluten free! Best food ever!
