I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was not at all what I thought it was going to be. I had to take the contents out of the tortilla and just eat the egg that was inside. Plus I order a coffee and got a coke??? Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

I recently dined at La Coronas, a Mexican restaurant that delivered an impressive culinary experience with its vibrant dishes. First, I savored their wet burrito with green sauce—a true standout. Packed with tender shredded chicken, beans, and rice, the burrito was drenched in a zesty tomatillo sauce that balanced tanginess with a subtle heat. Melted cheese cascaded over the top, adding creamy richness, while the sauce soaked into the tortilla, ensuring every bite was succulent. Served on a simple white plate, the vivid green sauce popped, making it as visually appealing as it was delicious.Next, I tried La Coronas’ combo plate, featuring an enchilada, a chicken flauta, and a fish taco. The enchilada, stuffed with savory chicken and topped with a rich red sauce and crumbled queso fresco, was comforting and perfectly seasoned—a classic done right. The chicken flauta, golden and crispy, offered a satisfying crunch with its juicy filling, elevated by fresh shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a dollop of sour cream. The fish taco stole the show, with lightly battered fish in a soft tortilla, topped with a zesty slaw that added a refreshing bite. Accompanied by well-seasoned Mexican rice and creamy refried beans, the plate was a delightful medley of flavors. Finally, I sampled their menudo with pig’s feet, a bold and authentic dish. The rich, spicy broth, filled with tripe and tender pig’s feet, warmed me to the core. Fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime enhanced its depth, though the gelatinous texture of the pig’s feet might not suit all palates.La Coronas truly shines with its authentic Mexican fare, blending bold flavors with comforting classics. For anyone craving a hearty, flavorful meal, this spot is a must-visit gem that captures the essence of Mexican cuisine.

Food was good and price was good as well. One of the better taco places in the area.

Very tasty Mexican food with great value for money. Staff was friendly. Service was incredibly fast. They still give you complimentary chips and salsa which so many places stopped doing.

Ordered carne asada taco $4 and a Modelo. Was ok.
Waiter acted like I was stealing from him. If you go to a food truck you at least get some salsa, and fries pepper. Just taco at this place.

We really wanted to like this restaurant, but the food was cold and just was not good at all. The beef soup was one of the worst soups I have ever had... anywhere, avoid it.

The service was ok at first, but the wait staff never refilled our drinks. We had to gesture for them. The place was pretty empty, there were probably one or two other parties.

My coworkers and I went to this place on a recommendation. Me and a coworker were sick after eating the food. The other two people were good. Take your chances!

The steak fajitas were burnt and tough, also had a can of cooked tomatoes in it! The waitress asked me if I wanted a bag for it I said no! I said I’m going to pay the bill but I didn’t like it ! Manager comes over to complain at me because I didn’t like the food, he said have another Margarita you will like it, I said Ihavent drank the 1st one tastes like old refrigerator! They need reported for serving old food! If I could give -10 stars I would! If you want cheap old food this is the place to go!

My favorite taqueria in a town full of taquerias.

The food was amazing, and it was all freshly made as well. I got the Enchiladas, and my Fiancé got the Pozole (which was a tiny bit spicy). We got a table right away, but the place definitely gets a lot of customers, and because of this, the waiters take a while to ask about how the food is and so on. I waited about 20 minutes before I could get the attention of a staff member, so it's for sure understaffed.
