This is a hidden gem. The Chile Verde was the best I've ever had. Spicier than most but combined with rice, beans and tortillas, it was perfect. The rice was fluffy...beans yummy. The menu isn't huge, but there are plenty of options.
I'd give it a higher than 5 if I could. I had a vegeterian burrito and while it was what one might expect for rice, bean, pico, sour cream, cheese - the rice was fluffy yellow and it was AWESOME! as well as enormous. Not only that but the price was right ~$7. Now that alone made the place a 5 star the salsa bar however was the "cherry on top", the salsa was great, they even have some grilled veggies in the salsa bar - first time I have ever seen that. Their pico/salsa...
What can I say, just amazing. A tad expensive but considering the size of the portions I'm okay with it. I typically get the super grilled chicken burrito and have never been disappointed. The flavor is great, the mix of ingredients is perfect, they hold together well, and their salsa has the right touch of flavor and spice; my original favorite is the red but their green is good too. There aren't many 5/5 burritos in my opinion but Taqueria La Mordida does it. Good...
