A staple for great tacos but the fried oysters and the miso clam were exceptional this time. Now with AC in the front room so we enjoyed our food and drinks and watched lot of tourists moving tables. Staff attentive (Almost too much but I think that is the system). Everything solid- a must for visitors who might now want to venture off the beaten path but was brilliant food.

We drove there specifically to have the Crunchy Volcano tacos again. The Milanesa and Baked Cheese were also wonderful. As were the margs and beer. Great service. We can't wait to get back here to do it again!

Outstanding service staff! The food and drinks were amazing! Back to the staff. We cannot say enough about how great the service and staff were. They all made our experience at the restaurant very pleasurable. Muchas Gracias!

Nice atmosphere and great service with friendly staff. Our only issue is with the prices. Our lunch which consisted of 5 small tacos, 2 house margaritas and dessert came to around $100.00. In Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA) which is an expensive tourist destination, a similar lunch with a lot more food and a great margarita costs us about $60.00. There were very few Mexicans dining there either as it is apparently targeting rich gringos.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food! The cheese crust al pastor is DIVINE!! The price was a little high, we thought - though isn't it everywhere rn? Truly a must when in Cabo, there's another location in San Lucas that I also visited, hence needing to try this one.

We've eaten here a couple of times and while a few people complain that it's not “authentic,” it is a fun and creative taco experience, if a bit more expensive than some. There are so many different combos you can come back several times and not have the same thing twice. And if you have a food allergy or preference (for me no cilantro), they will all be aware of it and confirm it when they bring the food. The servers are lovely and attentive and the drinks good. It's very small so be sure to try to get a reservation, and the patio is nicer than inside.

We had a great time at La Lupita. The service was excellent, The food was excellent and the ambience was great. Only complaint was that the chairs could have been more comfortable... perhaps with a seat cushion.

We were very disappointed, not worth the hype at all. Food so so, prices way too high. Can get much better tacos at Alexander's on the marina, friendlier servers, pricing much more affordable, better ambience.

Best Tacos my husband and I have ever had. The miso fish taco and especially the (Taco Guero) curry shrimp taco were the best. They have handmade tortillas made right in front of you. The Mezcalita with tamarind was such a unique and vibrant recommendation. We will come back every time we are in San Jose Del Cabo! I also let my waitress know it was my Birthday and they treated me so special. They gave me a birthday slice of corn cake, moist and delicious with fresh strawberries and whipped cream...yummm! Service impeccable, attentive and genuine.

Loved the beet salad. It really stood out - so fresh. Some tacos I liked - others were so so'. Didn't care for cheese crusted taco shell but the pork and carne tacos were very good.

La Lupita is fabulous!!! The food, drinks, and service are outstanding. We eat lunch at La Lupita every day while in San Jose. 6 times this trip. Just when you think you've had the best thing on the menu you try something new and it becomes your favorite. Two must haves are the grilled oysters and miso clams.

La Lupita is a must-visit if you want to enjoy authentic and superb Tacos. The food is freshly made in front of your eyes (including the flavorful tacos) and uniformly excellent. Truly, you can order anything off their menu and be happy with your choice. If you are lucky to score a table in the inner courtyard on a night when live music is playing, your culinary delight is enhanced by high-quality food and a great vibe. Service is friendly and efficient (if you ask, the wait staff will slow down a bit, otherwise, they will move you through your meal quickly). We make it a point to go every time we are in Cabo and if we have guests, we bring them along for a sure hit with everyone (form carnivores to vegans) -- advanced reservation are necessary, especially if you want a good table.

We ate here a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Good value, good food, good atmosphere. It was lively but enjoyable. It seems to have become a drunk American (and I'm American) party place, at least the night we were there, maybe it was a bad night. They had live music, and there were tables of people "singing" (yelling) along with the artist. At one point they loudly said "are we too loud" and the waiter unfortunately said no, they were fine. So it's not bad, just not what it used to be. If you're looking for a loud party atmosphere like you might find in Cabo, this could be your place. We usually love Los Cabos for being a little more subdued.
