I haven't been here since 2023 and decided to go for a breakfast burrito. In the past I've gotten the chorizo breakfast burrito (+ avocado) in the evening and they've always been a good sized burrito. Today I got it for breakfast and it was quite a bit smaller than it has been in the past. The menu says their burritos are made with three eggs but I doubt there was more than one egg in the burrito that I got today. The chorizo was a bit dry but the potatoes in the burrito were good. Overall, not worth the price in my opinion (especially given the obvious use of less eggs than is mentioned on the menu.

Nice atmosphere and great service with friendly staff. Our only issue is with the prices. Our lunch which consisted of 5 small tacos, 2 house margaritas and dessert came to around $100.00. In Santa Fe, New Mexico (USA) which is an expensive tourist destination, a similar lunch with a lot more food and a great margarita costs us about $60.00. There were very few Mexicans dining there either as it is apparently targeting rich gringos.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food! The cheese crust al pastor is DIVINE!! The price was a little high, we thought - though isn't it everywhere rn? Truly a must when in Cabo, there's another location in San Lucas that I also visited, hence needing to try this one.

We've eaten here a couple of times and while a few people complain that it's not “authentic,” it is a fun and creative taco experience, if a bit more expensive than some. There are so many different combos you can come back several times and not have the same thing twice. And if you have a food allergy or preference (for me no cilantro), they will all be aware of it and confirm it when they bring the food. The servers are lovely and attentive and the drinks good. It's very small so be sure to try to get a reservation, and the patio is nicer than inside.

We had a great time at La Lupita. The service was excellent, The food was excellent and the ambience was great. Only complaint was that the chairs could have been more comfortable... perhaps with a seat cushion.

Dope ass spot, from the chips and salsa to my custom breakfast burrito this place has flavor! Plus they have limes here unlike most places that don't carry them.

Honestly on of the best restaurants in Santa Clara, each dish I've ordered has been executed to the best for over a year and I doubt that they will not meet anyone's expectations, it's a hidden gem. The lady's that work here also make the place great very sweet and always attentive. My go to , whether eating in or ordering take out! Love this place.

We were very disappointed, not worth the hype at all. Food so so, prices way too high. Can get much better tacos at Alexander's on the marina, friendlier servers, pricing much more affordable, better ambience.

So this place has really good chile rellano burritos if they give you the right one. I highly recommend getting the super and not the regular. I feel like when your lucky you will get the right order. Whoever is making the burritos or food needs to look carefully at the ticket. I'm okay paying $15 for a burrito if it came with all the ingredients it said on the menu. We only ordered through third party apps and it's a hit or miss with this place. I would recommend this place 5 stars if only they paid close attention to the tickets and offered salsa or sides to go with the burritos. The loaded nachos were okay.. came cold and the tortilla chips tasted stale.

Best Tacos my husband and I have ever had. The miso fish taco and especially the (Taco Guero) curry shrimp taco were the best. They have handmade tortillas made right in front of you. The Mezcalita with tamarind was such a unique and vibrant recommendation. We will come back every time we are in San Jose Del Cabo! I also let my waitress know it was my Birthday and they treated me so special. They gave me a birthday slice of corn cake, moist and delicious with fresh strawberries and whipped cream...yummm! Service impeccable, attentive and genuine.

I came in to this place because I was craving enchiladas, and yelp told me there was a near by Mexican place. As I walked in it seemed crowded which to my thought I was like heck it must be good. Sadly it was disappointing, the enchiladas were alright the tortilla seemed like they didn't even cook them to begin with, the rice was burned and the beans had no flavor whatsoever. The tostadas de ceviche was just your typical nothing special about it, they did give you 2 tostadas which I didn't care for, but no sauce for it. To top it off the chips were stale and there was a hair on it. Would I come back??! Absolutely not! You're better off going to San Jose and getting much tastier Mexican food. I was just too lazy and it was pouring raining to drive a little far. I gave it 3 stars, at least the aguas frescas were good!

Loved the beet salad. It really stood out - so fresh. Some tacos I liked - others were so so'. Didn't care for cheese crusted taco shell but the pork and carne tacos were very good.

Brought my daughter in for lunch and good thing I checked out the menu posted outside first, wow these prices are outrageously high for a fast food Mexican taqueria! We decided to order burritos as they were more reasonably priced than the plates. We both ordered the super burrito which is an upgrade from the regular burrito and is supposed to include guacamole. I also tried the horchata which was much too sweet. The chips served at the table tasted stale and the salsa tastes like tomato sauce out of a can with some onion and jalapeno. One of the less good/weirdest salsas I've ever tried. I chose the carnitas burrito and when I got it I neither saw nor tasted any guacamole at all. I opened the whole thing up, and nope, nothing. The only green inside were little bits of cilantro. I asked the girl who served us if they forgot to put in the guacamole and she said it's in there. I said...where? While showing her my open burrito. She argued that it must have gotten mixed into the rice or beans. Really? Wow. Not sure why they advertise they are putting guacamole in there if they don't intend to do so. She finally said she'd bring me a little side of guacamole but "only this one time!" Uh, ok. She brought me a tiny plastic to go container with a watery green salsa ....this was NOT guacamole. Seriously, to save a nickel on some avocado you all would rather lose a customer? Shameful. I don't understand the high star ratings here. I for one will not be coming back.

La Lupita is fabulous!!! The food, drinks, and service are outstanding. We eat lunch at La Lupita every day while in San Jose. 6 times this trip. Just when you think you've had the best thing on the menu you try something new and it becomes your favorite. Two must haves are the grilled oysters and miso clams.
