I think the hours need to get adjusted I went at 9:30 and it’s closed but online says until 11pm
Came in at 11:40 01/14. There were no orders in front of me. Barista refused to hand out the food and drink till exactly 12:00 like the app suggested. What a waste of time…
Untrustworthy business~ My credit card was left behind and employees had let management know about it. When I went back to retrieve it, my card already had a list of charges for over $500. I found out the store manager Connie had been in to pickup cash from the safe. The charges appeared shortly after she left the business. Draw your own conclusions. Can't believe this but needless to say we will never be back. Clearly someone at Tastea knowingly committing fraud and a form of identity theft.
Sometimes the wait can get super long, but the drinks are solid. I really like the milk teas and the smoothies! There’s also a good selection of toppings. Although the cups are huge, the price is extremely high ?.
I love tastea Evergreen so much that I ordered from this particular location for my wedding. Drinks are good and consistent. I always order ahead via the app to avoid a wait. 5 stars for their supervisor, Izzy. She is so friendly, always greets you with a smile, and I think the drinks taste a little better when she makes them. :)

Visited this store this morning and was quite disappointed this time. I ordered hot Thai milk tea and hot Taro milk tea. It took nearly 40 minutes to prepare our drinks. There was only one person at the front store and it looked like he had to prepare lots of online orders. Milk teas are not really good either. But the ambiance is nice and the store is clean.

Gawd -- they have a 32 ounce size for their boba!! That takes me back to the days of the Big Gulp from 7-11 when I was a kid. So when you feel a craving to slam down a huge bucket of sugar, you know where to go.

You really can't go wrong with a solid boba chain like Tastea. This location is a bit off the beaten path but my friend and I had lunch right next door, so this was the perfect dessert to grab before our salon date.Their menu is as vast as you'd expect other large boba chains in the Bay Area. All the teas are brewed individually with the flavor syrups being responsible for your added sugar intake. They offer non-dairy milk options which is what I always look for whenever I frequent a shop. I ordered a regular milk tea with soy milk and boba, and it hit the spot. Shop worker was very nice and my drink came out quickly. If you get overwhelmed by the options, be sure to ask the workers there for recommendations. All boba lovers will have a go-to they can recommend.

REVIEW PREVIEWI am an extremely picky person and probably the most picky person you’ll ever meet. So 4 or 5 out of 5 or anything 7.5 or higher out of 10 is really an achievement for that restaurant. In that case, here is my review, by Nicolas!I would give this restaurant an 8/10!!!The mango one is so good! I love that you can customize your drink to perfection and it is very tastea! However, maybe just a little bit less sugar would be ok as well. The only reason why I took off a star(or 2 if out of 10), is because the service isn’t always perfect and the inside is not the greatest design during busier hours.

Went here on their 5 year anniversary and it was packed but they had a lot of staff to accommodate. I was able to get a tshirt which was only for the first 100 people and even spin the wheel for a prize. My go to drink is the peach me sweetea which I feel you can’t really get anywhere else in San Jose, especially that size and flavor combination. I always get the fries because I like the texture of them and now they added 3 near flavors of bbq, sour cream and onion, and jalapeño lime. The main reason why I go here over every other milk tea spots is online ordering. They have an app and it makes ordering painless. You order and pick up by the time it tells you, in and out.
My daughter just picked up our drinks and my avocado smoothie was like water consistency, but worse than that, the matcha thai milk tea had a piece of metal shaving on the boba. She discovered it after sipping through the straw. Been going there for years and this is unacceptable!!!! Unbelievable! Very dangerous!!!

I LOVE their teas and smoothies, but their snacks definitely changed both in quality and quantity. We got their fries, and it just taste like stale fries... there weren't any seasoning at all; I couldn't taste anything but fries. The size disappointedly changed drastically over the years as well. A size regular looks like a size small and cost $8.50, whereas a size large (which looked like the original size before) cost $12.20. Long story short, not worth it. You can also get way better popcorn chicken elsewhere. Tastea's popcorn chicken used to be my favorite, but it's gotten worse :\Service is great and the ambiance is nice!
