Tonight was the second time I went into tea alley only to find that management decided that one employee can handle everything by themselves. It is piss poor management to expect one employee to be overworked this much. One person should not have to be running back and forth constantly just because management wants to stay sound asleep in their bed. Extremely disappointed. If it happens again I will not be back and I'll make sure everyone knows why. One time was a fluke two times his piss poor management.
Poor service. I ordered a Kitkat crunch tea, and paid extra for it. But the tea was so bad and there was no kitkat crunch in it. Sweetness I asked was 100% but it was not even 20%.
Highly disappointed.
The lady clearly denied initially to make my drink a bit better. I have to request for it. She did with a bad attitude.
Staff is really not customer friendly and poor taste of drinks at the same time.
The best thing about this location is that it is open late. Never order the blueberry slushie, as it was just shaved ice with flavorless blueberries. Not worth the 8 dollars. My partner ordered a milk tea that took at least 40 minutes to make.
The drink was made good and as per instructions.
But.. no gloves, and the shakers weren't being sanitized they were just rinsed and used.. hygiene and safety must improve..
Late-night adventures often carry an aura of spontaneity and thrill, and my recent visit to Tea Alley in San Jose encapsulated this perfectly. Nestled in the heart of the city, Tea Alley stands out with its vibrant ambiance, beckoning night owls to indulge in its offerings until the wee hours of the morning. With a 2am closing time, it brings a unique allure to those craving a late-night bite or sip. The boba aficionados and casual tea drinkers alike find solace in this haven, where the hum of conversation mixes with the clinking of cups – a symphony that characterizes the late-night life.
The highlight of my nocturnal exploration was undoubtedly their fried milk. This delectable treat, which seamlessly blends creamy sweetness with a crisp texture, is the epitome of culinary brilliance. Each bite offers a delightful contrast between the outer crunch and the silky, smooth insides, making it an unforgettable indulgence. Paired with one of Tea Alley’s signature tea blends, the fried milk becomes more than just a snack; it transforms into a late-night delicacy that caters to both comfort food enthusiasts and dessert lovers.
As the night wore on, the atmosphere at Tea Alley remained inviting and electric. Conversations flourished under the soft, warm lighting, and the ever-present aroma of freshly brewed tea filled the air. The staff, ever attentive and friendly, contributed to an experience that was as enjoyable as it was satisfying. As closing time approached, the place slowly began to quiet down, but the memory of the delicious fried milk and the shared camaraderie lingered. Tea Alley didn’t just offer a late-night snack; it provided a slice of community and a sanctuary for those seeking a little midnight magic in San Jose.
Parking: You would probably have to find parking at ground parking lots in the area —

Went to this shop and was surprised that it is opened after 8pm! Had a really pleasant chat with the shop owner and the tea is amazing, super fragrant and aromatic and authentic, it is on par with the bubble tea chains from Taiwan. Extra shout out to the shop owner for making me feel at home !! Will definitely recommend this shop.

Ordering online was quick and easy. Received a text message to confirm my order has been received on their end. The place is down town so you may have to find parking on Santa Clara Ave. My order was ready for pick up.As far as taste goes my teas were great. I would come here again. I think the cups are a great size.
popcorn chicken was “kind of raw” (according to v****a) and the oreo milk tea tasted like hot chocolate powder unmixed
