This place is run by thugs who get a kick out of committing battery against customers for no reason.Went in with some friends as I was their designated driver for the night (which means I had ZERO drinks that night and was completely sober). I recognized some other friends who happened to be there. After hugging them, a 50ish year old man of medium stature with white long hair, who I later found out was named Rodney, confronts me stating I bumped into him and was in his space. My response was that no I was not, which prompted him to get closer to me. I asked what his problem was and the man immediately attempted to wrestle me to the ground. As the skirmish progressed, this man elbowed my girlfriend in the face as she was attempting to pull him off of me. Quickly all 4 bouncers ripped my shirt and threw me out while the man was confusingly being protected while barking orders at the bouncers. All while the bouncers were yelling misogynistic insults and slurs at my girlfriend. Turns out this man Rodney is some sort of manager and/or business partner and is allowed to do this to any customer he pleases. In short, Temple's management is allowed to commit unprompted battery on the clientele with zero repercussions. Not sure why anyone would want to appoint this thug Rodney as manager or go into business with him, but that's not my problem.Side note: Temple is also xenophobic so if you are an immigrant that hasn't gotten your U.S. ID yet and only have your country's passport (which is, in fact, a valid form of identification in California) don't bother unless you are ready to accept the bouncer's inevitable offer of a $20 bribe. I have been witness to this twice. Actually even if you have one don't bother either. Place is not worth it.

The security guy said he will only accept a US passport or driver's license as ID when we had a valid passport from another country. Never experienced this in my life before.

This club is ok . It gets crowded here when there's a lot of people. One time the security didn't let me in cause he thinks my pants are joggers ? But clearly it's not. The floor is very sticky it's hard to walk here. They don't clean right away when there spilled drinks. People be bumping each other even employees. I witness some fights here too.

I wasn't allowed in despite bringing my Canadian Passport and IDs to get in. I have never been to a club where they don't accept international ID and the bouncer told us to leave because "no internationals are allowed."

I would give them zero stars if I could. I was visiting SJ on spring break and wanted to experience their night scene (I'm from LA) and the dude wouldn't let me in because I didn't have a California id (only had an international passport on me)...he said "no internationals" when I literally live in LA

I've had ok experiences here and it generally does complement the "night out" experience. San Jose is a good location for this. However, I decided to officially write a review to warn people of what you might encounter business wise. I do like to tip bar tenders and the like. However, it was around 1am last weekend, my 2 other friends and I were not in our right minds fully, but we didn't cause trouble. I decided to ask if they have AMF drinks just to see what else we can get apart from other drinks we had. The bar tender starts to make the drinks right on the spot. I wasn't feeling good about this. Then, I go ahead and say, "wait... we just want shots". Then, I get billed $54. This was extremely unethical imo. I did not tip and they said they won't be giving me a receipt. From here on out, I wasn't feeling the night. Be careful. The employees there are becoming slick sales folks. I don't think I'll be going to San Jose to "party" any time soon. Going to check out the SF scene at some point next time.

They told person in front of me “they don’t allow international ID” (prob cause it was from India) and went on to allow me in with my “international ID” (prob cause it was from canada). Low key discrimination?

They don't let foreigner enter. They ask for US Id or US passport only. I wonder why they do this.

They don't let you enter if you are a foreigner

I know things can get crazy on a night out and bartenders are trying their best to accommodate everybody. However, this is the worst service I've ever experienced. They were just really mean and aggressive. They also "didn't know" the price of anything at their bar, which is a little concerning...Everything else including music and lights was decent.

Got harassed by multiple security the entire night because I was wearing a tank top. If dress code was an issue, bouncers should probably know about it too before letting people in. Security basically ruined the whole vibe & not the best place to be at when super crowded.

I think they need to hire new employees because my friend had a Wisconsin ID and they did not accept it and they said quote for quote, "it's not a california ID" and then on a different occasion, my other friend had an international passport and they did not allow her in because it was not an American passport.. like obviously.. she studies abroad here.. Temple needs to educate their employees. 1. Wisconsin is in the US. US citizen. 2. Passports are a legal identification...

Unless you got an USA issued ID they won’t let you in unless you pay 20. Corruption at its finest.

They don’t allow foreigners. The security at the door say they only accept US passport or American id.
